September 10th is a special occasion, on which we students can express our sincere gratitude to our respectable teachers.
In my memory, Mr. Jiang, my Chemistry teacher in high school, impressed me most in my past school years. At that time, I did rather poorly in Chemistry, which made me very upset. Mr. Jiang, a considerate and patient teacher, did not have any bias against me, who lagged far behind the others. Instead, he encouraged me and worked out an individualized plan for me. Highly motivated by this, I got interested in this subject, found the correct methods and managed to catch up with others.
I will never forget those who have dedicated all their efforts to help me grow intellectually. Working even harder and making my due contributions, I think, will be most rewarding to my teachers.

Should the University Campus Open to Tourists
Nowadays, many famous university campuses have become one of the popular tourist attraction.
As for this, different people have different opinions. On the one hand, some people argue that it is good for students to visit the famous university campus, because it can enable them to get more information about the university, and they can have enough time and opportunity to prepare themselves with the chance to get into the university. On the other hand, some people don’t agree on this. They think that the public tourism will have bad effects on the universities because it will influence not only the environment but also the study atmosphere.
In my opinion, the tourism to the universities is not a good thing. The campus is mainly a place for study. With the increasing tourism on the campus, it will ruin the spiritual atmosphere in this learning field.

On Students Selecting Lecturers
Nowadays, some universities give students the right to choose who teaches some of their classes. This has led to some debate over whether students should be given this much power.
There are several factors that students consider when choosing a lecturer, including the teaching style of the lecturer, the lecturer's academic background, and the lecturer's reputation among students. The ideal lecturer is one who has an interesting teaching style, a diverse academic background, and a good reputation among students.
There are both positive and negative aspects to allowing students to choose their lecturers. Giving students the choice encourages them to take ownership for their classes, and also puts pressure on teachers to improve their teaching quality.
However, the factors that students consider might not be the ones that lead to the highest quality of education. Schools might end up with lecturers who teach interesting classes without much content.

Many people love the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, because it involves all kinds of programs. No matter what you do and how old you are, you can always find something to make your day. Cross talks and other comic performance bring people a lot of laughter and famous stars’ showing up adds up more fun and excitement.
While others claim that CCTV Spring Festival Gala should be cancelled. They are complaining about its lack of originality and its dominant status on TV on that very special day. They also think focusing on this time-consuming program disturbs family members’ communication and prohibits them from attending more meaningful activities.
I think it unnecessary to cancel the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, for many people still have a strong feeling for it. But the program organizers should definitely try harder to figure out some more interesting and original programs catering to the change of the audience’s taste.

What Electives to Choose
　　Nowadays, there usually exists a wide selection of electives for college students to choose from. However, students have quite different plans for their future so they always end up learning courses based on their own ideas.
　　Some students may choose to learn a certain course in order to obtain an extra certificate for their job hunting after graduation. Because they assume that some more knowledge could ensure more chances of winning in finding a good job. Others may have their choice made just for fun. They tend to hold the idea that college life could be more colorful if they could widen their knowledge through elective courses.

Recreational Activity
Abundant recreational activities are available for people to release their strain and stress, ranging from sports to online activities. There is going on a hot debate arguing whether they are good for the public or not, especially for college students.
As for such a question, different people hold different views. Some believe that recreation is helpful if we want to keep healthy physically and mentally. While there also sounds an opposite voice, which claims that activities also bring many problems. For example, some young people are easily addicted to the virtual world online, which affects their study seriously and may lead to worse consequences as well.
　 As for me, I hold a belief that recreational activities do more good than harm. They do give us a good chance, and efficiency too. As long as we can arrange the time reasonably, they will definitely provide more benefits for us.

Recreational Activity
In people's daily life, there are various recreational activities apart from studying or working ranging from Karaoke or dancing to computer games or sports games.
Such activities are beneficial as well as harmful to us if undertaken inappropriately. On one hand, recreational activities can help us to not only build our body and mind but also improve our communication and understanding with friends because most of these activities are done with others. On the other hand, if we spend too much time on singing, dancing or other games, we might fail to concentrate on our duties such as studying our working, which in turn may lead to further consequences.
