Step1.Greetings.
Say hello to students, they can say hello to their partners,
Then talk about something like the day and the weather.
T: Boys and girls, do you still remember the song What is Your Favourite Day?
Ps: Yes.
T: Then let’s sing together.
T: Great.
Step2.Listen and practice: turtle,shell.leopard,spot
T:Class,what animals do you like best?
Ps: I like birds best.
T:Why?
Ps:Because they have beautiful feather.
T:Now please ask me,class.
Ps:What animals do you like best?
T: I love turtles best.Do you know turtles?
Ps:Yes.
T:Say it after me.Turtle.
Ps: Turtle.
T: You know I like turtles.Ask me why.
Ps:Why do you like turtles?
T:Because they have beautiful shells.Shell,read after me.
Ps:Shell.

Step3 Let’s talk.
Look at the picture and answer the questions
1) How many students are there in the picture?
2) Where is the squirrel?
3) Who likes squirrels?
4) Who likes dolphins?Why?
Then listen to the tape and finish the questions.
Listen to the tape again
Act out in pairs.

Summary what we have learned today.
