6. hear (vt) 听见；hear of/about ...听说……；hear from sb收到某人的来信；hear sb听见某人说的话；listen (vi) 听……；listen to...
辨析：hear 侧重强调听的结果，而listen 侧重指听的动作。

1. excuse me用于打断某人或请求别人帮忙的时候；sorry用于做错事向别人说对不起；pardon用于没听清楚别人说话，请对方再重复一遍

stop to do停下来去做另外一件事

4. loud(adj) 大声的；loudly (adv) 大声地

四. 短语和句型
1. a lot of = lots of 许多，大量。既可以修饰可数名词，又可以修饰不可数名词。
eg. There are a lot of people in the house.

We still need lots of water .

2. at the end of 在……的末端/结尾；at the beginning of 在……的开始
3. be far away from...离……远；be + 表距离的短语+away from...离……有……距离
eg. My school is far away from my house.
我的学校离家很远。
My school is five kilometers away from my house.
我的学校离家五公里远。
4. hear sb doing/ do 听见某人正在做某事/做某事
eg. When I came in the room, I heard him playing the piano.
当我进入房间的时候，我听见他正在弹钢琴。
We often see our teacher correct our homework.
我们经常看见我们的老师批改作业。
5. try to do尽力做某事；try doing试着做某事
eg. I will try my best to learn English well.
我会尽力把英语学好。
They are trying answering the question.
他们正试着回答那个问题。

【典型例题】
例1.I can see bees ______ in the garden. (fly， flying)
解析：此句话的意思应该是“我能看见蜜蜂在花园中飞。”表示正在进行，应该用see sb/sth doing 这个结构，所以我们应该选择第二个答案。

例2. My mother often asks me ____ late for my class.

解析：此句话的意思是“我妈妈经常告诉我不要上课迟到。”让某人做/不做某事的结构为ask sb (not) to do sth。所以应该选不定式的结构，所以正确答案为B。
