Naming University Buildings with Commercial Brands
Recently, a teaching building in Tsinghua University was named as "Jeanswest Building", "Jeanswest" being the name of a leading casual wear brand. In the wake of the event, a huge uproar was triggered nationwide. People in and outside Tsinghua University expressed their outrage, denouncing its authorities for allowing the university to be contaminated by commercialism.
To a large extent, such indignation is justified. Almost all Chinese universities are established and financially supported by the government. As public institutions, they are expected to concentrate solely on educating upright students and performing independent research. Commercialism has been carefully warded off so that neither universities nor their students would become money-oriented. Therefore, many fear that, if commercial encroachment is allowed to happen to a top university like Tsinghua University, rampant commercialism would extend to all universities across China.
However, no specific laws or regulations prohibit individuals or corporate organizations from making donations and having their names inscribed on certain facilities. In fact, some universities have already done so. Investigations show that, in Tsinghua University itself, there have been three precedents—three buildings in the School of Journalism, the Medical School and the School of Electronics have been respectively named after their donators. In the United States, this is a common practice and perhaps we have not yet grown accustomed to it.
A key factor in this controversy involves the need to scrutinize the motivation behind each donation. On one hand, we shouldn't dampen the enthusiasm of individuals and corporate organizations to perform their social responsibility by making generous donations. On the other hand, we shouldn't indiscriminately accept donations that carry explicit commercial intentions. Additionally, the management of the collected funds should be transparent, ensuring that the funds are exclusively used for educational purposes. In this way, donations are bound to produce positive outcomes.

Is Face to Face Communication Better than Other Types of Communication?
Nowadays, with the development of technology, many modern forms of communication, such as phone calls and email, have stepped into our life. Facing with these, the traditional way of communication — face-to-face communication seems to be left behind the times. But in fact, this is not actually true. For me, noting can parallel with face-to-face communication. The following reasons can account for my opinion.
For one thing, face-to-face communication allows us to make an interactive conversation. For example, we can clear away the misunderstanding in time. Social Practice of College Students

Will Network Classrooms Replace Traditional Classrooms?
With the popularization of the Internet, network classrooms are gaining more and more popularity. As a new teaching pattern, network classrooms have become an effective complement to traditional classrooms. So some people propose one question: will network classrooms replace traditional classrooms?

"Mute English" among Chinese Students
Nowadays, oral English is quite a serious problem among Chinese students. Most of the students have studied English for a long time, but they can't communicate well with other people in English. Skipping Classes on College Campus
In colleges and universities, the phenomenon of students’ skipping classes is not unusual. There are often some students who skip those classes for feeling unwell or other private reasons. Besides, still some students don’t go to class without any reason but for they don’t want to.
There are two main reasons for college students’ skipping classes. First, compared with in middle school, students have more freedom in college. It depends more on one student’s consciousness whether he will attend the class. So those students lacking self-discipline begin to skip classes. Second, some teachers’ lectures could not attract students’ interests so that some students would rather skip classes to study what they are interested in.
For whatever reasons, skipping classes does bring negative effects on students’ study. Therefore, it is necessary to take some effective measures to reduce this phenomenon. On the one hand, the school and teachers should make students realize the negative effects of skipping classes and enhance their consciousness of attending the class. On the other hand, teachers have to improve their teaching quality to attract students’ interests in the courses. 正确选项的特征：
1 符合主题很多正确选项都是和主题直接或间接相关，所以只要把握好文章的主题，不要进行主观推断或臆断，答案就在眼前。
2 原文改写六级当中的正确答案很多时候是原文当中一小段内容的改写，重点是表达改变，实词有所替换。
3 不太绝对不少选项都会利用perhaps，probably，possibly， might， maybe等单词使得选项意思不会过分武断。
错误选项的特征：
1 选项当中的感情色彩与文章的行文逻辑不符
例如：文章行文以褒义为基调，选项当中出现明显的贬义
2 串段选项－定位段落和答案出现段落不是同一段。
3 二次推断选项－选项内容本身而言并没有错误，但是和文章内容并无关系，学员容易因为日常生活的判断而做错，忘记了正确答案常是原文改写，被不少英文还不错的同学称为“巨人杀手”。
4 矛盾选项－分两种：
选项本身自我矛盾如and前后一个是褒义词一个是贬义词。注意：必须是词性的褒贬义，二次推理不列入该范围
和文章部分内容矛盾注意but后面的内容，就算不是正确选项，也有可能告诉你，哪一个选项是错的。
5 绝对化选项选项过分武断和绝对，可以参考的特征单词有：all， every， none， never， only， total和any等，但并不是说一有这些词就错，有时候还是有题目考核逆反思维的，而且only to， 或在only前面加否定就并非绝对化了。
6 无厘头选项－和文章内容完全没有关系，或和人类常识相违背的选项。
7 因果倒置选项 ： 六级考试中经常会问及因果关系的题目，一定注意因果在文章当中的表述，究竟谁是因，谁是果。因果经常可以看到选项当中有因果倒置的情况出现。
