具体内容：
Section A
1. 基数词
（1）表示数目多少的词叫基数词，如zero, one, two, three,… ，fifteen, sixteen等
（2）朗读规则。“零”在英语中可读作zero或字母Oo的读音，如果两个相同的数字相邻，读作double… , 如：0103264784；224455；Tel: [phone]
（3）拼写规则
（4）使用：“名词+基数词”，名词和基数词的第一个字母要大写。如：Lesson One；Row Five；Class Three, Grade One
2. Hello, Jane! What grade are you in ?
“in”是介词，表示“在……里”的意思，用在表示集体的名词前，表示主语是该集体中的一员。如：（1）I’m in Row 4. （2）I’m in Class 6. （3）Ma Lili is in Class 1,Grade 1.
3. I’m in Class2,Grade1. 我在一年级二班。
Class2,Grade1是一年级二班的意思，与中文表达正好相反，中文首先说大的单位，然后说小的单位。而英文要先说小的单位，然后说大的单位，由小到大。还要注意班级与年级之间要用逗号隔开，且单词首字母要大写。

Section B
1. How old are you ? 你多大了？
How old意思是“几岁”“多大年龄”。其回答有两种，既可以用 “I’m+数字”,也可以直接用数字表示。
如：（1）“How old are you ?” “I’m twelve.”
（2）“How old is Wang Tao?” “Wang Tao is ten.”
（3）“Are you twelve?” “Yes, I am.”
（4）“Are you ten ?” “No, I’m not. I’m eleven.”
注意：在西方社会里年龄往往属于个人隐私。对女性来说，“老”意味着魅力丧失，风韵不在，是一件令人痛苦的事。所以在西方国家，有的人尽管很老了，但他们不愿意承认自己老，当你看到一位老人提着东西蹒跚地行走时，如果不经请求，你主动上前帮忙，他不但不感谢你，还会讨厌你，因为他觉得你认为他老了，不中用了。除年龄外，工资收入，家庭情况，住址，经历，宗教信仰也属于个人隐私的范围。
2. What’s your telephone number?
telephone number意思是“电话号码”，也可说成phone number
（1）6558907应读作：six five five, eight nine zero seven
（2）68003553应读作：six eight double zero, three five five three
3. Is this a telephone? 一般疑问句肯定回答用“Yes, it is.”否定回答用“No, it isn’t.”
如：（1）Is this a pen ? Yes, it is. （Yes, it is/it’s a pen.） No, it isn’t. （No, it’s not/it isn’t a pen.）
（2）Is that your desk? Yes, it is.（Yes, it is/it’s my desk.） No, it isn’t.（No, it’s not/it isn’t my desk.）
（3）“What’s this ?” “It’s a clock.”
（4）“What’s that ?” “It’s a map.”
注：以上四句中的this和that在回答时都应用it代替，不能重复使用this或that，但 “Who’s this?” “This is Maria, my new friend.”这个句子的回答仍用this。

Section C
1. Tom, what’s this in English ? 汤姆，在英语中这叫什么？
in English 可作“在英语中”或“用英语”两种理解。
2. How do you spell it? 怎么拼写？
这个句子相当于Can you spell it? it指代上文的名词，how的意思是“如何”，“怎么”。
如：（1）How do you need the word ?
（2） How do you sing the song ?
（3）How do they come here?
注：How is……是用来询问身体或某一方面的情况。
如：（1）“How is your father?” “Very well, thank you .”
（2） “How is your work ?” “Not bad./Just so-so.”
3. What are these in English ? these和those以及this和that都是指示代词，these是this的复数，those是that的复数。
（1）This is an apple and that is a banana.
（2）These are apples and those are bananas.
（3）These/those boys are my friends.
注：these 或those作主语时，后面的be 动词用are,动词后面的名词也要用复数形式，以 保持一致。在回答主语是these或those的问句时，通常用they 来代替these或those,以避免重复。
如：（1） “Are these English cars?” “Yes, they are.”
（2） “Are those your English books?” “No, they aren’t.”
（3） “What are these/those ?” “They’re oranges.”
4. They’re eggs.
eggs是名词egg的复数形式。名词分可数名词和不可数名词，这里先研究可数名词。可数名词有单数和复数两种形式。大多数名词复数形式是在单数名词后面加-s或-es构成。
Ⅰ. 单数可数名词后面加-s,注意s的发音。
如：（1）jeeps, bikes,字母s在清辅音后发清辅音[s]
（2）eggs, apples, pens,字母s在浊辅音后发浊辅音[z]
（3）cats, birds等，字母t与后面的s发[ts], d与后面的s一起发[dz]
（4）days, boys, bananas, cars等，字母s在元音后发浊辅音[z]
Ⅱ. 以s, x, ch等结尾的名词后面加-es读作[iz]
如：buses, classes, watches, boxes等。
注意：man和woman的复数形式是不规则的，
man→men [men] woman→women[′wimin]

Section D
1. They are not in the same class, but they are good friends .
the same 指“相同的”“一样的”，same前面总有定冠词the。
如：（1）I have two pens, but they aren’t the same .
（2） The twins are in the same class.
（3）Are you in the same row/grade/school?
（4） Now, play the same game.
（5）Father sits in the same chair every evening .
（6） “Happy New Year!” “The same to you !”
