一、Teaching aims:

A) Enable the Ss to remember the words:fresh, follow, count and numbers from forty to hundred.
B) Learn about how to buy things.
2) Ability objects
Let the students have fun in learning English. To improve their oral-speaking abilities.
3) Moral objects
Arouse the students’ interest in learning English; Encourage the students to go shopping politely.

Step 1 Leading-in
Show some pictures related to going shopping at the supermarket.

² Would you like to go shopping with me?
² Today we’ll study Lesson32 At the Supermarket.(投影出示)
Step 2 New lesson
Show them “leaning aims”
1.To master(掌握) the words and key phrases(重点短语) of this lesson.
2. Try to understand(理解) the text and master the key sentences .
3.Know about how to buy the things at the supermarket.
Task One
Show them the new words, let them teach themselves within one minute, if someone has problems in pronunciation, he can discuss in groups. Recite the words in two minutes then Check some students.(出示投影)
Task Two
Suppose in the supermarket we meet Li Ming and his mother ,what is happening to them? listen and match the pictures, What do Li Ming and his mother want to buy?(出示投影)
Task Three
Read the dialogue and answer the following questions in three minutes.(出示投影)
1.Where are Li Ming and his mother?
At the supermarket.
2.Where are the potatoes?
They are next to the carrots.
3.How much is the red T-shirt?
65 yuan.
Task Four
Read the dialogue aloud , mark out the words or the sentences that they can’t understand, discuss in groups. If they still have problems,I’ll explain.(出示投影)
Task Five
Let the students find out the important phrases ,recite them then have a dictation.

I. Games about making money
Let the students get some money by doing exercises .
1) Riddles (In your group, one student read, the others guess.)

B. It's a kind of fruit and it's also a kind of colour.
C. It's a kind of vegetable. It's rabbits' favourite .
D. It's a kind of vegetable. People use them to make French fries.
2) Complete the shopping list

II. Pair work to get ready for shopping
Choose one picture and make a dialogue like this:

III. Making their own shopping list and go shopping
Let the students use their imagination to make their shopping list.

Encourage the students summarize the words and phrases that they have learned in this lesson .
Step 5 Homework
1.Make a poster about shopping politely.
2.Make a shopping list of ten things your family might need at the supermarket then go shopping with them.
