一、教学目标:
知识目标:
1、通过连续问答游戏,掌握以下语句:
How many days are there in a week?
There are …
2、 会书写day和Sunday两个四会单词,并提醒学生注意专有名词的书写特征。
欣赏Days of the week歌曲,在欢快的音乐节奏中,加深对本课内容的理解和掌握。
能力目标:
3、 能够熟练运用how many…激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立学习的自信心;发展自主学习的能力、实践能力和合作精神。
情感目标:4、让学生知道每一天的意义所在,培养学生热爱生活,珍惜时间。培养学生学习英语的兴趣,把英语学习生活化。

2、灵活运用句子How many…进行询问。

Ⅰ、Warm – up
Let’s game:比比谁的眼睛亮
复习How many…?句式的同时为后面的How many days are there in a week?句型做铺垫。
Ⅱ、Presentation
1、T shows a week of calendar and point to a blank
How many days ? ─→ A day
Two blanks ─→ two days
Seven blanks ─→ A week
2、T : “Here is a question . How many days are there in a week?”
Ss : “Seven .”
T : “Who can say like this ‘There are seven …’ ”.
S1: “There are seven days in a week.”
S2: “… ” S3: “…”. S4: “…”.
T points to the Ss to practice the sentence “There are …”
3、1)T : “I have another question . What’s the first day of the week ?”
T shows picture ☼ ─→ What’s this ?
Ss : “ Sun .”
T : “ Sun + day ─→ Sunday (星期日) Sunday is the short is Sun.举例China、 English、Ameircan…the first letter must big letter.
T :look the picture:what’s the first day of the week?
Ss :It’s Sunday.
T : “Who can say like this what’s the first day of the week?
S1: “It’s Sunday”
S2: “… ” S3: “…”. S4: “….”.

timetable of Class Four, Grade Four in Wanquan Street Primary school.
2) To learn the new words“Sunday and Saturday” and drills “How many days are there in a week? There are seven days in a week.” with the calendar watch.
