2.了解西方文化,能对相关节日进行简单的描述。

感恩节是美国和加拿大共有的节日,原意是为了感谢上天赐予的好收成、感谢印第安人的帮助。每年11月的第四个星期四
(1621年9月,“五月花号”轮船载着102名清教徒及其家属离开英国驶向北美大陆,经过两个多月的艰苦航行,登陆上岸,定居。第一个冬天,由于食物不足、天气寒冷、传染病肆虐和过度劳累,这批清教徒一下子死去了一半以上。第二年春天,当地印第安人,给了清教徒谷物种子,并教他们打猎、种植庄稼、捕鱼等。在印第安人的帮助下,清教徒们当年获得了大丰收。首任总督为此建议设立一个节日,庆祝丰收,感谢上帝的恩赐。1621年11月下旬的星期四,清教徒们和马萨索德带来的90名印第安人欢聚一堂,庆祝美国历史上第一个感恩节。男性清教徒外出打猎、捕捉火鸡,
他们将猎获的火鸡制成美味佳肴,盛情款待印第安人。感恩节吃火鸡的习俗便流传下来了。女人们则在家里用玉米、南瓜、红薯和果子等做成美味佳肴。人们围着篝火,边吃边聊,还载歌载舞,整个庆祝活动持续了三天。)

(每逢感恩节这一 天,美国举国上下热闹非凡,人们前往教堂做感恩祈祷,城乡市镇到处举行化装游行、戏剧表演和体育比赛等,学校和商店也都按规定放假休息。孩子们还模仿当年印第安人的模样穿上离奇古怪的服装,画上脸谱或戴上面具到街上唱歌、吹喇叭。散居在他乡外地的家人也会回家过节,一家人团团围坐在一起,大嚼美味火鸡,并且对家人说:“谢谢!”。
疯狂的购物月从感恩节的次日(星期五)开始,这一天即被称为Black Friday(黑色星期五)。之所以叫这个名字,据说是因为周五这天一大早,所有人都要摸着黑冲到商场排队购物)

随笔或反思
六年级内容本身比较难,加上我校学生水平有限,所以本节课我采用了PPT教学,利用生动活泼的图片帮助学生了解学习,加深记忆,学生反应还不错.本节课不足的是,机械操练的内容偏多,学生还是被老师牵着走,没有很好的发挥他们独立思维问题的能力,主要还是他们基础不是很好,教师在今后的教学过程中应该注重他们口语的表达,让他们有更多”说自己想说的话”的机会.
