Lesson Objectives:
1、知识目标：
1) 能记住并会使用短文中新词汇
unbelievable, progress, rapid, unusual, toilet, encourage, social, peaceful, performance, perfect, itself, collect
2) 会使用现在完成时态表达句型，能正确区分其与一般过去时态。
Have you ever been to a museum? Yes, I have. No, I haven’t.
Amy has ever been to the International Museum of Toilets.
Last year, Linlin went to The Hangzhou National Tea Museum.
3) 了解并掌握完成不同任务的不同阅读方法。
2、能力目标：
1)学会自主阅读，并通过合适的阅读方法完成阅读任务。
2)学会自主学习，学困生借助音标和优秀生课前认读单词并能开口读出来句型。
3. 过程和方法目标
1）学生通过看、读、说、写，掌握并使用合适的阅读方法完成阅读任务。
2）学生完成教材和老师设置的各项任务，并使用这一课时的目标语言获取与分享信息，自由谈论，阅读曾去过的地方。
3. 情感态度和价值观目标
1）通过课前“1+1帮扶合作”及课堂小组合作，让学生感受班集体的温暖，并发自内心地热爱班集体，对于学困生要学会感恩，用努力认读单词和开口读顺句子来回报优秀生的辛勤帮助。对于优秀生要培养他们德与智的和谐发展。
2）通过谈论了解身边同学、朋友、教师、家人去过的地方，增加彼此之间的感情，学会关心他人并培养人际交往能力，同时感受到语言使用的趣味性。
3）了解自己的家乡，热爱我们生活的地方。

Teaching aids:
1)For teaching methods, the new curriculum standard advocates that language is for communication, English teaching should lay special emphasis on development of Ss. For this purpose, I’ll mainly adopt scene teaching method, Task-based teaching method, communication, question, explaining, practicing and comparing teaching method. Here I’ll mainly talk about Task-based teaching method, that is to say, in my class I’ll design different activities and get Ss to fulfill the tasks. In that way, Ss will learn to experience and explore to improve their overall abilities.
2)For learning methods, I’ll adopt skimming and scanning reading method. Ss in grade 7 have mastered a certain basic knowledge of English, and they still keep their curiosity on something new. According to this situation, in this unit I will design some activities to help Ss to develop their reading strategies.

In this step, I’ll first give students greetings, then I’ll guide them to review what they’ve learnt last class, and then I’ll lead in the new lesson. I’ll ask them questions like “Have you ever been to Tunlan? /Which foreign country have you been to?” to review the target language they have learned .

Students greet the teacher and review what they’ve learnt last class with the help of the teacher.

通过单词列表呈现新单词，直观且便于记忆。

语境的创设在英语学习中非常重要，用学生熟悉的煤矿环境来引入阅读，让学生可以在用中学，学中用，明确语言学习的目的就是为用而学。

2. Brainstorm: Ask students to think about the different kinds of museums they have been to/ they know/ they want to build in the future.
3. Let’s be proud of Shanxi. Ask students to read about the Coal Museum of China, then fill in the chart.
4. Let students know about what they are going to learn, then words come first.
The students look at the pictures and have a brainstorm to review the words about museums. They are interested in the new knowledge and learn all about these words.
