一．Teaching Analysis
本节课教学内容为PEP小学英语四年级下册 Unit 3 Weather part A Let’s learn and Let’s chant. 这一单元的主要教学内容是学习形容天气的英语表达，学习运用warm\ cold\cool\hot这些形容词来表达天气情况。
二．Teaching Aims
a. 能够听、说、认读单词hot, cold, warm, cool, weather。
b. 能够熟练运用句型It’s warm/cool/hot/cold in Beijing来介绍不同地方的天气特征。
c. 培养学生自主学习的能力和合作精神。
三．Teaching Key Points
1. 重点：能听、说、认读单词weather , warm , cold , hot , cool。  
2. 难点：运用新学的单词和句型模拟天气预报。
四．Teaching Procedures
Step1. Warm-up
Greeting：自由对话
Step2. Presentation
1. Lead-in ：以hotdog 引出单词hot，并用学过句型it’s hot,I’d like some 操练
2.   Learn the new words
a.引出单词cool。并通过hot和cool的对比练习加强记忆。
b.通过引出哈尔滨来教授单词cold，利用拼读法来学习单词cold并渗入语音教学,延伸到关联词：old,呈现句子 It’s cold in Harbin
c.通过let’s chant第一部分巩固前面所学单词
d. 通过引出北京来教授单词warm并以let’s chant加以巩固；呈现句子It’s warm in Beijing 渗透反义词。
e.通过what time is it? It’s 7:30 it’s time for ---。并利用学过的单词father, mother, brother来学习单词weather的发音。
f. Let’s chant巩固前面所学单词.
Step3. Consolidation and Extension.
T：Do you want to be a weather reporter? If yes, Let’s meet the challenges.
1. Challenge 1 ---Read the words.
2. Challenge 2--- make a dialogue拿出练习本造句子
a. This is the__________.
b.It’s__________in__________today.(Harbin Kunming ,Guang zhou, Hangzhou, Beijing, Hong Kong)
3. Let’s act.
Group work: 四人一小组讨论，然后派代表上台播报天气。
Step4. Sum-up.
