Step1 Warming-up

2. T: Say “Happy New Year!” to your friends.
Step2 Revision
1. T: Look, Helen and Mike are very happy on New Year’s Day.
Let’s dub for the story.
T: I am Uncle John. Who can be Mike/Helen?
T makes an example with Mike/Helen.
T: Now, it’s your turn. Prepare in groups.

T: Look, this is a CD. And this is a VCD. We can listen to music from CD. We can watch cartoons from VCD. There’s a cartoon in the VCD. Let’s watch it!

2. T: Yes. It’s Bobby’s birthday. What can we say to Bobby? Listen and imitate. Teach: Happy birthday!
We should open the gift on the spot and say thank you.
