Teaching analysis:
Ⅰ.The analysis of the teaching contents:
The objective of lesson 3 is to help children grasp the main idea of the text, enable the students to use English to describe different people. Develop the students’ abilities of reading and writing.
Ⅱ.The analysis of students:
The students in grade 6 are much more active and creative than that in other grades of primary school, and they like to show themselves in publics. They have learned English for several years, which make them have the ability to meet the basic requirements of saying sentences and making up dialog. On this situation, according to reading and writing, we can enable them to use English flexibly.

of sing the song, enable the students to feel those sentences about describing people.

2. Ask the students to fill out the blanks.

Combine sufficient comprehension with indispensable practice; develop the students’ abilities of reading and writing.
Consolidation
Divide the students into 14 groups, each group has four students. Describe your friends, make up dialog with each other.
Use the sentence patterns and words to make up dialog with your group members in the real situation.
Consolidate the sentence patterns the students have learned before. Enable them to master the topic about “describing people”.
