一、教材简析：
本课的核心内容是“季节”。所涉及的主要句型有： Which season do you like best? I like… Why? Because it’s … I can…本课主要学习四会单词：spring, summer, autumn, winter. 三会单词：best, because 日常交际用语：Which season do you like best? I like… Why? Because it’s … I can… 本课内容比较贴近学生的实际生活，语言运用情景也比较真实。
二、教学目标：
1.认知目标：通过学习，使学生掌握四会单词：spring, summer, autumn, winter.掌握日常交际用语：Which season do you like best? I like… Why? Because it’s … I can…
2.能力目标：通过“互动型”的教学途径，培养学生的创新精神和将所学的英语运用于日常交际的能力，提高学生的语言能力和学习能力，让学生得到自我发展和个性发展。
3.情意目标：通过创新教学方法，提高学生学习英语的兴趣；结合学习内容，培养学生的表现力，养成学生爱思考的良好习惯。
三、教学重难点：
1.能掌握四个表示季节的单词，能正确表达季节。
2. 能听懂、会说、会读句子：Which season do you like best? I like… Why? Because it’s… I can…，并能正确、熟练地运用。

五、教学过程：
Step1.Warming-up:（热身）
1.Say a rhyme. (让学生进入学习英语的状态。)
2.师生问候
3.呈现课题：T: Today we’ll learn Unit 5 The seasons
Read the title: The seasons ,season ↑↓ The seasons↑↓(学习三会单词)
Step2.Review
在网络上呈现六幅图：
1.问答： Which picture do you like best? I like the first/second/… picture best.
2.学习三会单词 “best”
3.师生问答。
Step3 Presentation:
1. 新授四会单词: spring、summer、autumn、winter
A.学生看VCD: 《four seasons》
学生自主听，然后可以跟着说一说。
B.根据所听的VCD，回答问题: How many seasons are there in a year? What are they?
C.让学生在网络上自学新单词，让学生带上耳机跟读、拼读这些单词。
多媒体呈现四季的图及相对应的单词，点击出现录音及拼读。
D.检查: 老师利用多种形式让学生读一读单词，拼一拼单词，在此过程中纠正学生的发音。
E.猜季节: Which season? 在网络上播放各个季节有代表性的声音，（如：夏天—知了的叫声）让学生猜一猜是什么季节。
F.玩转盘游戏: 出现有四季的转盘，学生只有正确拼写出指针所指的季节的单词，才能继续玩下去。然后由电脑计分，比比谁的分数最高。
2.在网上欣赏小诗。（课本H 部分）
3.新授新句型: Which season do you like best? I like… Why? Because it’s… I can…
A. 老师问：Which season do you like best? Why? 学生在老师的引导下回答S: I like…,Because … （初步感知句型）
B. 让学生在网络上点击句子跟读，让他们自学新句型Which season do you like best? I like… Why? Because it’s… I can…
C.师生问答，给出示范：T: Do you know which season I like best and why? S: No T: Do you want to know? Ask me, please.
S: Which season do you like best? T: I like…. S: Why? T: Because it’s … I can …老师在回答的过程中进入网络上的Talk页面。
四人一小组操练。让三个学生问，一个学生进入“talk”中的任意页面，根据图片的辅助给出回答。然后轮流问答。
D.反馈: 让个别小组来问答。
E. 练习
让学生进入“Exercise” 页面，看图完成练习 1 和2

Exercise 2:

Step4、Consolidation:
1. 简单勾勒出你所喜欢的季节
2. 让学生用今天及以前所学的知识，用自己的话将图描绘出来
