UNIT THREE MY FRIENDS Teaching Design 得力其尔小学 张晓雪 Unit Three My Friends 一. Teaching Content:My friends A(Let’s learn/let’s find out) 二. Teaching Method:Teaching class 三. Minute:15 minutes 四. Teaching Aims: 1.To learn new words:friend, long hair, short hair, thin, strong, quiet and learn the sentences:My friend is strong. He has short hair. 2.To practice the ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing. 3.To let students make new friends and introduce their friends to others. 五.Important points and difficulties Important:1.To teach the new words:friends, long hair, short hair, thin, strong, quiet 2.To teach the sentences:My friend is strong. He has short hair. Difficulties:1.To practice the sentences:My friend is strong. He has short hair and so on. 2.How to decribe your friends to others and let them guess. 六.Teaching Aids: radio and tape, people’s pictures, word-cards,zoom and zip’s pictures 七.Teaching Procedure: 1.warm-up Greet to children and leads teacher and students are friends, then listen to the tape, sing the friend song together. 2.review Teacher shows zoom and zip’s pictures then making a dialogue“Zoom:Hello, zip. Nice to see you again. Zip:Hi, zoom. Nice to see you, too. I’m very happy to meet my friend. Zoom:Me too. You have a long tail and I like it very much. Zip:Haha, your eyes and nose are very big, we all like you. Zoom:How many friends do you have? Let’s go to find our friends . Zip: Ok! 3.presentation Step1 Teacher shows a picture:Chenjie and Amy are friends, look at this picture:Sarah has long hair, but she has short hair, Wu yifan is thin, then zhangpeng is strong and chenjie is quiet. Then students write these words on the exercise-papers and write the Chinese meaning in their books. Step2 Teacher shows John:My friend is strong. He has short hair…and Mike:Who is he? Then practice and make others guess. Then students write them following the teacher. Step3 Teacher shows word-cards and teaches students how to read, then listen to the tape and read after the tape. Practicing the words one by one. Step4 Let’s find out:showing pictures and teacher decribes friends then let students guess who is he or she. Work in pairs and choose one of these pictures to write his or her characters to decribe then the other guesses. 八.Homework:1.To copy these words five times 2.To draw a picture of your friend then write her or his characteristics. 九.Handwriting: Unit Three My Friends friend long hair short hair thin strong quiet My friend is strong. He has short hair. Who is he? 十.Conclusion This lesson we learn new words:friend, long hair, short hair, thin, strong, quiet and sentences:My friend is strong. He has short hair… We practice the ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students can decribe their friends and make more new friends through learning. Teacher should learn more and make a high level.
