Step1 Warm up and Greeting
Greeting with Ss.
Good morning. / What’s your name? / What’s your lucky number? / What animals do you like?
Step2 Leading in
1. Show a rainbow picture on screen to introduce the new word “rainbow” to Ss.
2. Ask Ss How many colours are there on the rainbow?
Step3: Presentation & Practice
1. Introduce 7 colours to Ss respectively.
2. Listen to the song for the first time.
3. Listen to the song for the second time with a question “How many colours are there in the song?”
4. Listen to the song for the third time, this time hum the tune.
5. Listen to the song for the fourth time, sing along with the music.
Step4: Consolidate
Read the news once again. Play a guessing game.

本学期第一单元的第一课时，孩子们好像还没有从假期的状态中走出来，所以先复习了上学期学的几首歌曲以及常用句型。还好，孩子们对颜色并不陌生，只是对pink,red的发音花了一些时间去纠正，孩子们总是忘记k\d 的发音。
