Yet other comedians may trip over chairs, walk into doors, and fall down on stage in order to make people laugh. The last kind of comedian does impressions—he or she will act or speak like a well-known person in order to make fun of that person. (2009安徽高考卷) A. while B. until C. when D. before 拓展:while, when, as的区别 while引导的时间状语从句中的谓语动词只能是延续性的动词。 when引导的时间状语从句中的谓语动词既可以是延续性的动词,又可以是短暂性动词。 as引导的时间状语从句中的谓语动词与主句中的谓语动词同时发生,翻译成“一边……,一边……”。 〖考点2〗affection n. 喜爱,钟爱 have / show (a deep / great) affection for … e.g. 1) He had a great affection for the town where he grew up. 2) She obviously has a warm affection for Italy and its people. 3) I have a great affection for Nanjing. 拓展:affectionate adj. ~ towards sb. 表示关爱的 10.
