A Teaching Design Name 何光敏 School 扬中市第二高级中学 Title Born to Win (生而为赢,生而能赢) Analysis on teaching materials 一、(中文版译文)Born to Win (生而为赢,生而能赢) 1.人皆生而为新,为前所未有之所存在;人皆生而能赢。人皆有其特立独行之方式去审视,聆听,触摸,品味及思考,因而都具备独特潜质-能力和局限。人皆能举足轻重,成就功业。 2.成者”与“败者”含义颇多。谈及成者我们并非指令他人失意之人。对我们而言,成者必为人守信,值得信赖,有求必应,态度诚恳,或为个人,或为社会一员皆能以真诚回应他人。 3.成者行事并不拘泥于某种信条,即便是他们认为应为其奉献一生的理念;而是本色行事,所以并不把精力用来表演,保持伪装或操控他人。他们明了爱与装家,愚蠢与装傻,博学与卖弄之间迥然有别。成者无须藏于面具之后。 4.成者敢于利用所学,独立思考,区分事实与观点,且并不佯装通晓所有答案。他们倾听,权衡他人意见,但能得出自己的结论。尽管他们尊重,敬佩他们,但并不为他们所局限,所推翻,所束缚,也不对他人敬若神灵。 5.成者既不佯装“无助”,亦不抱怨他人。相反,他们对人生总是独担责任,也不以权威姿态凌驾他人之上。他们主宰自己,而且能意识到这点。 6.成者善于审时度势,随机应变。他们对所接受的信息做出回应,维护当事人的利益,康乐和尊严。成者深知成一事要看好时节,行一事要把握时机。 7.尽管成者可以自由享乐,但他更知如何推迟享乐,适时自律,以期将来乐趣更盛。成者并不忌惮追求所想,但取之有道,也并不靠控制他们而获取安然之感。他们总是使自己立于不败。 8. 成者心忧天下,并不孤立尘世弊病之外,而是置身事内,满腔热情,致力于改善民生。即使面对民族,国家之危亡,成者亦非无力回天之个体。他总是努力令世界更好。 二、 教材赏析 1)(Par.1)作者上来就以一连串的排比句开场,叙述了人所共知的一个事实,每个人都相同而又似乎不同。一开始就强调了born,同时也为下面提出的论点做了深厚的铺垫。相同的是与生俱来的能力。 人人都想做一个成功者,但怎样才能成为成功者呢?作者概括了成功者的素质,说明即使拥有成功的能力,也需要自身的努力。同时也给了读者一个悬念,吸引读者继续阅读。 (Par.2)但有必要先来解释一下究竟什么是成功者和失败者。作者在这里打破了人们心中关于成功者的错误看法,而是提出了自己对于成功者的解释,确切地下了一个定义。 (Par.3)作者对成功者的定义做出了进一步的阐释,并同时引出了人们对于成功的条件的更强烈的阅读渴望。 (Par 4)当然,有一就有二,作者谈到了成功者的第二个要素。即独立思考。 (Par 5)接下来是第三个要素,即独担责任,主宰自己。 (Par 6)接下来是第四个要素,即把握时机,审时度势。作者特别详细地介绍了这种特点。 (Par.7)接下来是第五个要素,自由享乐,取之有道 (Par.8)最后一点,作者将这种因素上升到了一个高度,那就是关心世界,关爱世人。 2)本文是一篇结构严谨,论据充分的议论型散文。一开始作者就开门见山地提出了自己的观点。人生而为赢,然后谈及成功者的6大特征。让读者明白:没有人想成为失败者,是因为我们既想爱别人,也期望得到别人的爱。所以作为成功者才是我们应该追求的。 本文最值得我们学习的地方就是文章的结构。总分结构,让人看上去一目了然,读来一气呵成,有理有据,让人不由赞叹作者熟练的写作技巧和对整篇文章的全局把握。 Analysis on learners Teaching objectives (including importance and difficulties) ⒈ 教学目标: 知识: Get the students to guess who they are Get the students to know the true meanings of winning.
