教学重点
正确听、说、读、写、本课出现的重点词汇。掌握形容词比较级的不规则变化。如：big双写g加er ，heavy则把y改i加er。
教学难点
能在实际情景中灵活运用形容词比较级。如：You’re heavier than me.
教学策略（教法学法）

通过歌曲复习形容词的比较级，通过课件呈现新单词，并采用任务型教学进行巩固练习。采用活动教学法、任务教学法。

Step 1 Warming up:
(1) Greetings.
(2) Let’s chant.
Thin, thin, he is thin.
Tall, tall, she is tall. ...
Step 2 Presentation:
(1) 课件出现哥哥给同学们猜谜的片段，让学生猜是哪种动物。
This animal is very big , It has two big ears , two small eyes and four big legs . It has a very long nose , but his tail is very short, guess, what is it ?
猜出是elephant 后，课件出现一头大象，老师请学生描述大象的体貌特征，再出现老鼠。
T：Boys and girls, what’s this?
T：Is the mouse very big?
T：Yes, the mouse is small.
The mouse is smaller than the elephant.
The elephant is bigger than the mouse.
出现大象和老鼠的对比图片，显示单词 smaller （er 用不同颜色表示），然后出现单词 bigger (ger 用不同颜色表示)
(2) 出示老虎和大象的对比图。
The tiger is strong. The elephant is stronger.
(3) 教师提出3个问题。
How heavy is Zoom?
How heavy is Zip?
Who is thinner and who is heavier?
Zoom is heavier than Zip. Zip is thinner than Zoom.
Step 3 Practice:
(1)教师放B Let’s learn 部分的录音，学生听录音跟读。
(2)教师戴上熊的头饰，Hello, I’m a bear, I’m heavier than the mouse, ha, ha! 然后引导学生戴上头饰和别的动物比一比。
Step 4 Production:
课件出现动物园场景，聘请学生当小小讲解员，如：The tiger is strong, The elephant is stronger. 以此达到操练句型、运用句型的目的。
Step 5 Ending:
Summary and Homework.

作业布置
（1）抄写单词三英三汉,并听写。（2）完成课堂练习册。
