Good afternoon ,teachers! My name is hu jianqun . it’s my great pleasure to be here and share my Module with you.Now I’m talking about ,which is from English Book module unit . The book is used by the kids in Grade Six .
My teaching report includes four parts .
Part 1. The analysis of teaching content.
This lesson is from < module unit .> Book NSE. There are ten modules in Book . Today I’ll talk about M U . Module are about . So it’s the continuous learning of the . In this lesson, we’ll learn to use verbs to talk about . There are two parts in this lesson. Part A The text. . Part B Exercise. This is a dialogue between . several sentences surround talking the places of will be learned .During this unit , the main language points in this unit is to makethe kids say something about freely and communicate with others in English .eg: Beijing’s got about fourteen million people. And pay close attention to the using of .According to the kids’ English level and the corresponding content in the daily life ,I give them some extra extending .To train their ability of communicate with the others in English ,I prepare the following design .

Part 2. The analysis of teaching methods.
According to the morden perception theories and the request of new curriculum standard I adopt scene teaching method and TBLT method.
The former “scene teaching” method, it makes a real scene and help the pupils to use English in a “real” invironment.
The latter, task-based learning teaching method, it offers the students an opportunity to complete tasks. Such as to imagine . And to talk about Shenzou VI ect. TPR method , performance and games methods .I will arrange these activities: guessing game finishing a survey and having a competition. And I wil l try my best to limit TTT, that is, limit Teacher Talking Time and increase STT (Student Talking Time).
Part 3. The analysis of learners.
The students are in Grade 6. They are active, naive and curious about the things. We are facing the 11 to 12-year-old kids 。I think the most important thing for me to do is to attract their interests and make them love English and feel confident in this subject .so ,I will play some interesting games with them ,show them the funny cartoon movie and role the plays in the text or have a competation. we should not only focus on the language point itself ,but also set up the real circumstance where I can encourage them to express themselves better .What I try my best to do is to arouse the kids’ interests and protect their enthusiasm。They have learned before. In this lesson they will go on learning as consolidation. Through listening, speaking, reading, writing, and imagining, the Ss study in relaxed and happy atmosphere. Students are the principal parts of learning and the teacher is a guide. By doing tasks and playing games, they take part in the lesson actively and happily.
Part 4. The analysis of the teaching procedures .
In order to realize the teaching objectives properly and efficiently, I divide the process into five steps.
Step 1 Greetings
Greet the whole class as usual.
Step 2. Revision
1. Ask students some questions to revise the last lesson（show them on the screen）.

2. Check the homework（made a survey about ）. Through this part we can consolidate what they studied yesterday, communicate with others about their survery results and prepare for the new lesson.
Step 3. Lead-in and preparation for reading
Show them some pictures and let them talk each other, and then use the pictures about and so on.
Purpose: Arouse the students’ interest of study.
Bring in new subject: .
Step 4. Fast reading
Read the passage as quickly as they can. I show the questions on the screen and let them get the main idea of each paragraph:

Method: Read the text individually, use question—and—answer activity.
Purpose: Improve the students’ reading ability.
Understand the general idea of each paragraph.
Step 5. Listening（book closed）
1. Listen to the tape then do an exercise
2. True or false exercise.（on the screen）
Train the Ss’ listening ability and prepare for later exercises.
Step 6. Intensive reading
Read the passage carefully again and answer some detailed questions on the screen.

It is also called depth reading or study reading. It means reading for detailed information.
Purpose: Further understand the text （Train further reading ability） to find out some different sentences and details of the text.
Step 7. Preparation for details of the text on the screen

Purpose: Train the Ss’ ability of understanding and using laguage.
Step 8. Consolidation
1. Find out the topic sentences.
2. Retell the passage according to the topic sentences.
Purpose: I want to know if my students understand the whole text really and if they master what I mean to tell them in this class. What’s more, I want to let them have the ability of introducing and analyzing expression. At the same time, I will write down the topic sentences on the blackboard according to what the students find, so they can retell it easily.
Step 9. Discussion
Show them some pictures about the
Purpose: I mean to give them emotional education. I give them multi-media pictures to arouse their interest of study and their love for life. I mean to make them realize:
I teach them to do their best to help it and do something from now on. Everyone should do something to love and protect our home.
Step 10 Sum up the knowledge we’ve learnt today. Let’s look forward to
Step 11. Homework
Write an article . I want to improve the ability of their writing. At the same time, train the ability of do-it-yourself and looking up the information by themseleves.

Group work : Divide the class into eight groups and every group will be decorated into a fruit shop, ask one pupil to be the shopkeeper and the other members in this group will be the customers .Encourage them to buy and sell the fruit with what they learned in this part ,I design a real situation that is common in our daily life and the kids will not feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar with it, The teacher will go around the class and supply the help to the unable ones .In such a peace and pleasant situation they like to speak the dialogue they learned to express themselves .They can feel the success and become confident in speaking English .）

In this lesson , what I design (not only the presentation of the main teaching points ,but also the activities) attract the pupils interests .They learn and practice while playing . I think it’s really a good lesson of high quality.
