外研八下英语Module1 Unit1教学设计 Module 1 Feelings and impressions Unit 1 It smells delicious! 长丰县城关中学 常传锦 一、教材分析Analysis of the teaching materials 面对生活中的各种事物、人和事件,人们总会有不同的感受,而能够正确表达自己的情感态度是每个人的基本能力。本模块以感觉与印象为话题,表达感受和情感。本课对话主要以表感觉和知觉的系动词的用法为主,表达对事物的感觉,这些内容都很符合这一年龄段学生的兴趣,语言实践活动也很好开展。因此,学习本模块不仅能帮助学生提升语言水平,对学生的身心发展也大有裨益。 二、教学目标Teaching objectives: Knowledge objectives: 1. Words: smell, salt, sour, pizza, lovely, soft, cookie, try,pie, sound, sweet tooth, jam, have a try, done 2. Sentences: The cookie tastes sweet. The milk smells sour. 3. Grammar: Sense verbs + adjectives Ability objectives: 1. To be able to use sense verbs correctly. 2. To be able to use adjectives to express one’s feelings and moods. 3. To be able to talk about one’s likes and dislikes with adjectives and sense verbs. Moral objectives: 1. The spirit of cooperation. 2. Share feelings with each other. 三、教学重难点Teaching key and difficult points: To be able to master the key vocabulary and structures. 四、教学方法Teaching methods: PWP method, task-based method and interactive approach 五、教具Teaching aids: A tape recorder, multimedia and PPT 六、教学过程Teaching Procedures: Step 1. Warming up 1. Play a game: T: Class, Do you like playing games? Let’s play a game. “ Touch your nose. Open your mouth. Close your eyes. Touch your ears.”Then use your hands to feel your clothes. 2. Free talk: T: What do you use to see / listen / taste / smell / feel? Ss: I use … to see. (eyes) I use … to listen. (ears) I use … to taste. (mouth) I use … to smell. (nose) I use … to feel. (my body) T: ( show some pictures on the screen) How does the orange taste? S: It tastes sour / sweet… T: How does the fish soup taste? S: It tastes salty. T: How do the chocolate cookies taste? S: They taste sweet. T: How does the hamburger smell? S: It smells fresh / delicious / strong…. T: How does the skirt feel / look ? S: It feels / looks…. 3. Pair work. Students work in pairs to talk about other things. (show more pictures to the students) A : How does /do … look / sound / smell / feel / taste? B : It/They…sour, salty, sweet, fresh, quiet, strong, tight, delicious… (这一部分是热身活动,从学生最熟悉的感官出发,引入表示感觉和知觉的系动词,以及相关的形容词,同时呈现新词。一方面激发学生的好奇心及学习兴趣,另一方面为下面的活动做好词汇及句型方面的准备。) Step 2.Listening 1. Listen and number the pictures. 2. Listen again and complete the sentences. ( 这是本课的小听力部分,学生通过听捕捉到重点信息,完成本部分两个子任务,呈现典型句型,扫清下一步听读障碍。) Step 3.Listening and reading 1. Listen and check what Betty is making. 2. Listen and read, then answer the following questions. 1).What smells delicious? 2). What doesn’t smell fresh? 3). What tastes sweet? . 4). Who looks pretty? 5). Who sounds nice? . 6). What feels soft and comfortable? . 7). Who looks smart? 3. Students read and imitate the dialogue after the flash, then role play it. (本部分向学生提供了一个真实的语言环境,让学生通过听读完成任务,并体会语言在一定语境下的运用。) Step 4. Practice 1. Complete the sentences and then read aloud. 1). Daming tastes the pizza but _______. 2). Daming likes sweet things so ___________. 3). Tony thinks the girls look smart because __________. 4). They are getting the food ready before they ____________. 5). When they come back from the airport, they’re ______________. 2. Complete the table with the following words: feel, look, quiet, salty, smell, sound, sour, strong, taste, tight , comfortable, delicious , fresh, nice, pretty, smart, soft, sweet Eye look Smart,… Nose     Hand     Ear     Mouth     (练习强化部分。) Step 5. Speaking Work in pairs. Ask and answer about the things in the box in Activity7. Say why you like or do not like them. ----Do you like bananas? ----Yes, I do. They taste delicious. Do you like flowers? ---- … (语言输出部分。学生们根据自己的实际情况,表达个人的感受。在互相交流的过程中,一方面培养他们的语言实际运用能力,另一方面培养他们的合作精神,学会和同伴分享体验及感受。) Step 6.Summing-up Sense verbs + adj smell (smelled, smelt)闻,嗅;闻起来 quiet 安静的 feel (felt, felt)摸起来;感觉 salty 咸的 taste 尝起来 sour 酸的 look 看起来 fresh 新鲜的 sound 听起来 pretty 漂亮的 … lovely 可爱的 soft 柔软的 … Step 7. Homework: Make sentences with “smell, feel ,sound, taste, look”,then share them with your parents or other family members. 七、板书设计 Bb design: Module 1 Feelings and impressions Unit 1 It smells delicious! Sense verbs + adj smell (smelled, smelt) sour feel (felt, felt) soft taste fresh look pretty sound quiet 八、教学反思 Teaching reflection: 本课学习重点为感官动词的用法,本节课的活动始终围绕着“smell, feel, sound, taste, look”这几个感官动词展开,重点明确,思路清晰.我先通过图片教单词,同时练习对话,再通过对话练习单词,衔接自然,由浅入深.这节课还出现了两个亮点,即热身部分,既与本课的感官动词有关,又使学生主动参与到活动中,既有趣味性,又有灵活性.但是如果此游戏让学生走上讲台,在全班同学面前做,效果会更好.还有一个亮点是我用课前发给学生的的实物让学生“看,摸,尝,闻,听”,通过学生自已的感受,自然地说出带有感官动词的句子。整堂课我讲授了不到15分钟,把时间放给了学生来探究、展示、交流、提升。整节课上我在关键时候对学生进行评价,激励每一位学生、每一个小组参与课堂中。小组之间差距太大,一组相对来说学优生多,但是五、六组里面学困生多,但我通过评价激励他们4次,也使他们自觉的参与课堂教学。但是本节课上的还不够紧凑,给学生展示的部分时间不够,有些小组的激情刚刚燃烧起来,刚刚达到高潮就结束了,使学生没有尽情的表现出来. 在以后的教学中,我要总结经验,吸取教训,更好地创设语言情境,让更多的同学积极地参与到课堂活动中来,进一步提高课堂教学效率。 2015.6
