Unit 2 It’s a long story.
设计说明
本单元通过谈论乘火车旅行导入课堂,介绍中国的高铁、高铁票及车厢里的座次标号,为学习对话做好准备。然后根据对话内容,设置速读任务、精读任务及读后任务,来帮助学生加深对内容的理解;并学习其中的重难点知识,写作“旅行短剧”,提高书面表达能力。最后通过做题,巩固、运用所学知识。
教学目标
通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标:

(1) 掌握本单元新单词及短语:sir, officer, stupid, jacket, take care, take off

Step 6 Language points
1. Lin Lin gets on the train and looks for his seat. 李林上了火车,寻找他的座位。
get on意为“上(火车、飞机、公共汽车等)”。其反义短语为get off,意为“下(火车、飞机、公共汽车等)”。
We got on the bus and take our seats.
我们上了公共汽车并坐在我们位子上。
Never get off until the bus stops.
直到公共汽车停下才能下车。
2. It’s great to see you. 见到你很高兴。
这是一个“It +be+形容词+to do sth.”句型,意为“做某事是……的”。it在句子开头作形式主语,后面的动词不定式短语是句子真正的主语。
It’s not easy to learn to play an instrument.
= To learn to play an instrument is not easy.
学习演奏一件乐器并不容易。
[注意]在此句型中,可以在动词不定式前加of/ for sb. ,如果形容词表示某人的性格或品质,如kind, nice, polite等,则用介词of;如果形容词表示事物的特征,如important, necessary, difficult等,则用介词for。
It’s cheap for us to ride a shared-bicycle. 对我们来说,骑共享单车很便宜。
3. Now, take off your jacket. 现在脱下你的夹克吧。
take off意为“脱下”。其反义短语为put on,意为“穿上”。take off是“动词+副词”型短语,名词作宾语时,放在off前后均可;人称代词作宾语时,必须放在take与off之间。
Take off your cat. 摘下你的帽子。
Your coat is wet. Take it off. 你的外套湿了,把它脱下来吧。
[拓展]take off意为“起飞”。
When did the plane take off? 飞机什么时候起飞的?
4. Because he is too tired to move. 因为他太累了而不能走。
too... to…意为“太……而不能……”,too后接形容词或副词,to后接动词原形。
She was too young to look after herself. 她太小了而不能照顾自己。
[拓展]too…to…句型可与…enough to do sth. 或so…that…句型转换。
He is too weak to do the work.
= He isn’t strong enough to do the work.
= He is so weak that he can’t do the work. 他身体太虚弱,不能做这份工作。
