Book6 Unit 5 Lesson 1 There is a river near the village教学设计 一、教材分析 本课是五四制小学英语五年级下册第五单元的第一课,本单元以Country Life为话题,主要教学内容是用There be 句型介绍村庄。本节课紧扣农村生活实际,学生兴趣浓厚并且易于表达。 二、学情分析 五年级的学生,已经有学习英语的经验积累,学生有了一定的词汇量基础,例如本节课需要用到的There be 句型,学生已经积累了许多,学生对英语学习已经有了一定的经验并养成了良好的学习习惯,对自己感兴趣的话题,他们渴望参与,乐于表达。因此在本课的设计上,充分调动学生的情感体验、探究欲望和主观能动性,让学生在大胆实践和积极参与的过程中,培养其积极的情感态度和自主学习能力,为他们搭建自我展示的舞台。 三、教学目标 1、知识目标: (1)词汇: 能听懂、会说、认读、规范书写单词:bird, river, any duck;能听 懂、会说、认读单词: village ,happily, catch,并能结合句型灵活运用。 (2)句型:能听懂、会说、认读相关的句型:There is \are.... Is\are there.....? Yes ,there is \are. 2、技能目标: 能够运用句型:There is \are.... Is\are there.....? Yes ,there is \are.谈论事物。 3、情感目标: 帮助学生培养保护环境,从我做起,爱护我们的家园。 4、语用目标: 运用所学习的句型来谈论自己的村庄。 四、教学要点分析 1、教学重点: (1)重点词汇是:bird, river, any duck;等。 (2)重点句型是:There is \are.... Is\are there.....? Yes ,there is \are. 2、教学难点: 灵活运用所学知识谈论周边事物。 五、教学准备 多媒体课件、单词卡片等。 六、教学过程 Step 1. Warming-up. 1. Greetings. 2. Revision. T: This lesson,I’ll study with you.Last lesson we learned our neighbourhood.Look at this picture,this is my neighbourhood.Who can introduce your neighbourhood.(2个学生运用There be 句型介绍自己的社区) T: Do you like his\her neighbourhood S:Yes. 【设计意图】复习旧知,为新知的呈现做好铺垫。 Step 2. Presentation. 1. Leading-in. T: We know some students live in the neighbourhood. Some live in the village,Yes? 2. Look here,this is a village.(出示村庄图片)板书、范读、跟读、检查。(其他学生摆口型) T:Is the village beautiful? This lesson,Guo Yang,Danny and Jenny will go to Guo Yang’s grandparents’village.Let’s watch the video and find out:What’s in the village? There is\are......(第一次听录音) 【设计意图】观看光盘,整体感知课文,回答问题。 (出示课本第一幅图片) S:There is a bus.There are many trees.There are some houses. T:And there are many birds in the trees. 【设计意图】通过学生回答问题引出新单词bird。 T:(出示小鸟图片)学习新单词bird,引出birds, 学习句子:There are many birds in the trees.板书、范读、跟读、检查。(其他学生摆口型) Question:What are the birds doing? S:They are singing happily.(happy)学习新单词happily(课件呈现) 3. T:Guo Yang’s grandparents’village is very beautiful.Yes? Let’s go on following them. (出示课本第二幅图片)Question:Is there a river near the village? S:Yes. (课件呈现)river学习新单词river,句子 There is a river near the village.板书、范读、跟读、检查。(其他学生摆口型) T:I think there are some fish in the river.Let’s talk about the question:Are there _____ fish in it? (课件呈现) A:some B: any Watch the video and find out the answer.(第二遍听) S:选B.学习新单词any(提示疑问句中一般用any) 回答问题;Yes.There are lots of fish. 4.(出示课本第三幅图片) There are lots of fish in the river. Question: Are there any ducks in the river? S:Yes.学习新单词duck,句子There are some ducks in the river.板书、范读、跟读、检查。(其他学生摆口型) Question: What are the ducks doing? Watch the video and find out the answer.(第三遍听) S:They are catching fish.学习新单词catch.范读、跟读、检查(其他学生摆口型) T:Do you want to catch fish? S:Yes. T:I want to catch fish,too.I think it’s very intereting. Yes? 【设计意图】整篇课文运用提出问题,引出句子,学习新单词和重点句子。循序渐进,环环相扣,适合五年级学生的逻辑思维,锻炼了学生的口语表达,提高了学生的阅读能力。 Step 3 Consolidation(巩固练习) 1. Listen and repeat. 听课文录音,跟读句子 【设计意图】给学生充分的朗读时间,通过模仿性操练加 深对课文的理解,整体感知新课,训练朗读技巧,培养朗读 习惯,感受英语的语音语调。 2. You are the strongest brain. Read the new words and make sentences. 【设计意图】通过快速读单词和重点句子,为学生提供语言运用的机会,及时纠正学生在理解和掌握知识中出现的偏差和错误,并达到熟练巩固知识的目的。 T:You are really the strongest brain. Step 4. Extension 1. Look at the pictures.Let’s talk about them in groups.完成课本Let’s talk.部分。巩固操练句型。 A: This is a village.There is a river near the village. B:Are there any trees in the village? A: Yes ,there are. 【设计意图】通过学生对话练习,巩固所学,并能把学到的语言知识运用到语言实践中去。 3.T:You can talk about the village fluently.Let’s challenge.Fast reading 快速阅读(课件呈现)。 I'm Li Ming.I'm in Class Four.This is my village. There is a hill near the village. There are many trees and flowers on the hill. There are some fish and ducks in the river. Guo Yang and I often catch fish on Sunday.We have a good time. 判断正误 1、 Li Ming is in Class 5.( ) 2、There is a hill near the village. ( ) 3、Guo Yang and Li Ming often catch fish on Saturday. ( ) 4、They enjoy themselves. ( ) 情感教育: Let‘s enjoy and think(课件呈现) 【设计意图】通过学习本课,让学生有保护环境刻不容缓,从我做起,让世界多一份清新。 Step 5. Summary. T:Who’s all right?Put up your hands.You are very clever! Try your best .Let’s retell.(师指黑板,与学生一起复述课文) 【设计意图】对本堂课的英语语言知识和能力进行总结归纳,帮助学生形成明确的语言意识,强化学生对所学知识的记忆。 Step 6. Homework write a letter to Danny and Jenny and introduce your own village. Dear Jenny and Danny, How do you do ? I'm a pupil.I'm from China. I live in a small village.But my village is very beautiful. There is a ______ in my village. There are some ______ in the river.
