1. Show four pictures of Wuhan , let students talk about the pictures free . They can use Chinese to describe.

2. Play the recordings once and ask students what is the passage about to let them know the main idea of the content.

3. Use the PPT to teach : city of rives /city

of lakes / run from west to east / enter / around.

4. Practice the words and expressions in pairs , then in groups.

5. Students read the passage by themselves and then answer the question: What do you know from this passage?
