Recycle One《Seasons in Canada》教学设计 一.教学内容PEP小学英语五年级下册 Recycle One《Seasons in Canada》 二.教学目标 知识与技能目标 1. 通过学习能够综合运用关于四季的特征和相应活动动的语言知识。。 2. 在教师的引导下通过自主学习与合作学习能读懂课文,并能够回答问题。 3. 在教师的引导下,复述本节课课文。 4. 能模仿短文进行语篇写作,培养学生对季节描述的写作能力。 过程与方法目标 通过自主学习、合作交流、汇报展示等方式,让学生能够掌握阅读策略,并能学以致用,提高写作能力。 情感、态度与文化目标 情感目标:培养学生热爱大自然,提高保护环境的意识。 文化目标:了解不同国家一年四季的不同特征,并学习向别人介绍自己国家的四季气候和人们活动。 三.教学重点: 通过学习有关加拿大的季节的介绍,掌握季节描写的方法,写完整的语篇。 四.教学难点:对各个季节的特点进行更有深度的描述介绍。 五、教具准备 多媒体课件,录音机,磁带。 六、教学过程 I. Warming 1.课前播放歌曲What’s Your Favorite Season? 2.Let’s chant Summer,summer,what can you do? I can swim in the lake. Spring,spring, what can you do? I can plant flowes and tress. Fall, fall, what can you do? I can pick apples. Winter,winter, what can you do? I can skate and ski. 3. Free talk T. I love spring.Because I can watch many flowers. S: My favourite season is …. T: Why do you like …? S:Because I can …. Then let the students ask their friends by themselves. T: I have a friend. He’s Mike. He’s fromCanada.Canadais a beautiful city. Now I have many pictures for you.加拿大四季风景图片让学生了解Canada。 T:Do you know what’s the weather like in Canada ? What can Mike do? II Presentation Step 1 .Pre-_reading (1)   Listen,watch and answer the questions. How many seasons are there inCanada? (2)   Listen to the recorder again and write” T”or “ F”. InCanada, it often rains in summer.(    ) In spring ,it is hard to plant flowers in the rain .(    ) Step 2. While–reading 1.Read the text ,circle the words and phrases you don’t understand , then ask. Then let the students help the students to solve the problems. 2. Read the text fast and underline  the words about  the weather in four seasons. The text doesn’t  tell us the weather about fall. Let the students guess what the weather is like in fall. 3.Skip the text, discuss and circle the activities about Mike in four seasons in groups of four.Then ,I will ask one student of a group to show. 4.Read the text after the recorder .Then read after the teacher. 5.Free reading . Reading by themselves. Step 3.Post–reading 1. Fill in the blanks   I’m Mike. I love four seasons. In spring, I can __________ and __________.In summer, I can __________. In autumn, I can __________ and __________. In winter, I can __________. 2.Look at the phrases about seasons on the blackboard and retell the text. 3. Talk about four seasons you like or dislike  in groups of four and write it on your paper. Then I will ask two students to read it. Step 4.Extension Show a beautiful picture of the earth and a picture of the dying earth. Tell the students the weather is warmer and warmer. Call for the students protect our environment. Step 5. Homework Ask the students to write a letter to John. Dear John, InChina, I love __________. It’s __________ and __________. In __________, I can __________ and __________. Please come here in __________.
