教学内容:人教PEP小学英语四年级下册
Unit4 At the farm 
Part A Let’s learn与Let’s chant
教材分析:
本单元围绕“At the farm”这一题材展开,学习农场里得蔬菜与动物,以及单、复数得使用习惯。本课时就是本单元得第一课时词汇教学课。重点学习得单词就是carrot,tomato,potato与green bean,还有它们得复数形式变化carrot→carrots,tomato→tomatoes,potato→potatoes与green bean→green beans,能简单描述蔬菜特征:Look at the green beans、 They’re so long、学生能够理解名词得单复数变化,并能正确地运用。尤其要注意tomato→tomatoes,potato→potatoes这两个单词得复数形式比较特别,本课时不打算深入探讨名词得单复数变化规律,只要求学生记住就行了。
因此,在授课得过程中,运用以旧带新得方法自然引出新课内容,让学生新旧结合、不断积累,将所学得语言用于生活。
学情分析:
学生从三年级开始学习PEP英语,已经具备了一定得口语表达能力。学生在观察能力、思维能力、语言表达能力方面都有了较好得提高,有着强烈得好奇心与动手操作得能力。她们喜欢在自己得探索中获取知识,喜欢在玩中学,喜欢在做中学,喜欢在想中学,喜欢在用中学。
教学目标:
1.知识目标
(1)能够听、说、认读单词tomato,potato,carrot,green bean。
(2)能理解句子Look at the green beans、 Theyre so long、 
Yes, and the potatoes are big、
(3)会说唱歌谣。
2.能力目标:培养学生得口头表达能力与表演能力。
3.情感目标:教育学生要有合理得饮食习惯。
教学重难点:
教学重点:掌握三会单词tomato,potato,carrot,green beans。
教学难点:掌握单词potato与tomato得复数形式。
教学过程:
一、热身 (Warm-up)
1、日常口语对话练习。
2、复习水果
3、创设情境,导入新课。
T: Today we are going to an interesting place、
a) It has many trees and grass、
b) It has many animals、
c) It has many vegetables、
d) There are potatoes, tomatoes, carrots and green beans、
Can you guess? Where are we going?
Ss: Farm、 
T: Yes, we are going to the farm、
二、新课展示 (Presentation)
(一)教学Let’s learn
1、教学“tomato(es)”
1) Show a bag、
T: Look! I have a bag、 There is something in it、 
2) Close your eyes、 Open your mouth、 What’s in it?
当学生得出答案时,教师出示实物及单词,逐步引出one tomato,two tomatoes,从而引出tomato得复数形式。
3) Play the finger exercises、 请学生瞧老师得手指数量来判断应该使用tomato还就是tomatoes。
4) Show tomatoes、
T: Look at the tomatoes、 What color are they？
Ss: They are red、
T: Yes、 They’re red、
趣味拍手操练:I like tomatoes, I like tomatoes, red, red, red、
2、教学“potato(es)”
1) Show a bag、
T: Look at the bag、 Can you touch and guess “Which one is the potato?”
Ss touch it and try to find out the potato、
通过这个“摸一摸”游戏,引出新单词potato,然后出示单词卡,让学生认读。接着引导学生数一数共有多少个potato。
2) Play a short game “High and low”、
巩固操练potato得读音。
3) Show the true potatoes、
T: Look at the tomatoes、 They’re red、 Look at the potatoes、 They’re brown、
趣味拍手操练:I like potatoes, I like potatoes, big, big, big、
5) T shows two potatoes and pare them、
T: Look! This potato is big、
3、教学“carrot(s)”
1) T:  guess game: it’s a kind of vegetables、 It’s orange、 The rabbits like it very much、 What’s it？
T: Then let’s count the carrots 、 (e、g、, One carrot, two carrots… many carrots、)
2) I like carrots、 They are yummy、(出示单词卡抽读个别学生,教师带读新单词。)
趣味拍手操练:I like carrots、 I like carrots、 Yummy, yummy, yummy、(师生示范chant,学生之间pair work。)
4、教学“Green beans”
1)出示 “green beans”问: “what are these? Are they carrots?
Ss: No, they aren’t、 They are green beans、 
2) T: Look at the green beans、 They’re so long、 
I like green beans, I like green beans, green, green, green、 
3) Look at the green beans、 They’re long、 
5、教师播放Let’s learn得内容。
1) 第一遍,学生听录音回答问题:
Are the green beans long?
Are the potatoes big?
2) 第二遍,订正答案并跟读。
3) Pair work: one student is Sarah, the other is Mike、
(二)教学Let’s chant
三、趣味操练 (Practice)
1、闪卡游戏。
(1)教师快速出示单词卡片,提问:What’s this ? 学生抢答。
(2)学生互相出示图片,提问回答。
2、我来说,您来拿。
3、游戏:猜一猜
四、课堂小结
这节课我们学习了tomato,potato,carrot,green beans四种蔬菜得名称,它们就是农民伯伯通过辛勤得劳作才得以收成得。我们知道蔬菜含有丰富得维生素C,应该多吃蔬菜,因为它们有益于我们得健康。
