三、第四单元知识点梳理
1、普通过去时情态动词句型转换：
(1)could引导普通过去时否定句，在could之后加not：could not=couldn’t
Six years ago，I could write.(否定句)
Six years ago，I couldn’t write.
(2)could引导普通过去时普通问句，将could调至句首：
Mike could read and draw.(普通问句)
Could Mike read or draw?
(3)could引导特殊问句：特殊疑问句+could引导普通问句：
They could ride a bike.(对画线某些提问)
Could they ride a bike(用do what替代) ？
What could they do ？
2、普通过去时和普通当前时动词形式对比：时间决定期态
依照句中时间副词不同，使用不同动词形式。重在引导学生区别动词原形、三单和动词过去时。可以采用表格方式进行呈现，同步配合普通当前时练习加以巩固。Unit4中浮现动词总结如下：

4、关于今昔对比作文写法：Unit4 Then and now其实参照是高中英语中作文基本写作，采用过去和当前对比喻式，教会学生如何写作。环绕话题是“Changes in our life”，也可以说是“Compare the past with the present”,让学生学会写作格式同步，理解普通过去时和普通当前时不同之处。句型：1、…years ago …now… 2、句型：This was me years ago，I was I could I couldn’t Now，I .
5、关于某国人复数表达：口诀：中日不变，英法变，别的+s
"某国人"复数有三种类型：
1） Chinese，Japanese国人单数复数同形，不需加s。（尚有 Swiss（瑞士人）
2） Englishman，Frenchman复数要把man 变为men。（Dutchman（荷兰人）也是）
3） 其她各国人以–an，-ian收尾均直接加s。如：Americans，Australians,，Germans等。
