I. Warming- up and Lead-in
1. Greeting as usual
2. Have a game ”Let’s guess”. According to the game to learn the new words: pen, pencil, book, eraser, ruler, pencil case backpack, pencil sharpener, dictionary.

II. Presentation
1. In order to master the new words better, I want the students to have another game“what’s missing”
When one picture is missing, the students just stand up to tell me the name of the picture and he will get one point.
2. Read the words together and give them one minute to recite it.
Ⅲ.Work on 1a
1. Ask the students to match the words and objects in the picture by writing the letter of the object on the blank line after the word.
2. Ask one student to give us the answers, and read the words together.
Ⅳ.Work on 1b
1. Have a game: Look and say.: Show the student a group of pictures and practice the sentences: Is this /that your…? Yes, it is. It’s mine. =It’s my … .
2. Ask the students work in pairs to practice the conversation, and then ask one pair to practice.
3.Show the students another group of pictures and practice the sentences: --Are these/those your…? Yes, they are./No, they aren’t. They are mine./his/hers.
4. Ask one pair to practice the conversation , too.
5. Listen to the tape and finish 1b.
6. Listen again and the fill in the blanks.
7. Ask one student to give us the answers and the read the conversations together.

1. Show the student one sample of the conversation and give the students 3 minutes to practice the conversation with their partners.
2. Ask two pairs to practice the conversation
Ⅵ. Game time
1. Ask the students to choose one picture and finish the exercises behind the picture ,and he can get the points.
2. Check the answers together.
