experiences,and“most of allhappiness.”There is evidence that happiness is more likely for children who have high self-esteem.Self-esteem is an attitude that is equal to a sense of self-respect and a feeling of self-worth.Childrens judgment of themselves,how they feel,and their emotional reactions and expressions influence the kinds of friends they will choose and how they get along with others.Childrens feelings of self-worth form the core of their personalities and determine what they make of their abilities.They have a growing need for independence.During the early childhood
