When someone ask me what my Chinese Dream is, I will tell him “To be a good doctor” with any hesitation(犹豫). The reason why I want to be a doctor is because I want to save as many people’s lives as I can. When I was young, I have a terrible car accident. Thank to the doctors, I survived and recovered. From then on, to be a good doctor has always been a inspiration to myself. I will study hardly to make sure that my dream will be come true in the future. Chinese Dream is made up of every ordinary person’s dream. We should try our best realize our dreams.

此句型为the reason why。。。
第四处为时态错误,根据时间状语when I was young 可知要用一般过去时,所以have变had。
第十处为固定搭配错误,尽力实现梦想用try our best to do。
如本句错一词,在错词下划一横线,并在横线下写出修改后的词;
如本句多一词,把多余的词用斜线(﹨)划掉;

21. Grown-ups are often surprised by how well they remember something they learned as children but have never practiced ever since. A man who has not had a chance to go swimming for years can still swim as well as ever when he gets back in the water. He can get on a bicycle after many years and still ride away. He can play catch and hit a ball as well as his son. A mother who has not thought about the words for years can teach her daughter the poem that begins with “Twinkle, twinkle, little star” or remember the story of Cinderella or Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
One explanation is the law of overlearning, which can be stated as follows: Once we have learned something, additional learning efforts increase the length of time when we will remember it.
In childhood we usually continue to practice such skills as swimming, bicycle riding, and playing baseball long after we have learned them. We continue to listen to and remind ourselves of words such as “Twinkle, twinkle, little star” and childhood tales such as Cinderella and Goldilocks. We not only learn but overlearn.
The multiplication tables(乘法口诀表) are an exception to the general rule that we forget rather quickly the things that we learn in school, because they are one of the things we overlearn in childhood.
The law of overlearning explains why cramming(突击学习) for an examination, though it may result in a passing grade, is not a satisfactory way to learn a collage course. By cramming, a student may learn the subject well enough to get by on the examination, but he is likely soon to forget almost everything he learned. A little overlearning, on the other hand, is really necessary for one’s future development.
8. The author explains the law of overlearning by ______.
A. using examples
B. making a comparison
C. setting down general rules
D. presenting research findings
9. What does the word “they” in Paragraph 4 refer to?
A. Commonly accepted rules.
B. The multiplication tables.
C. Things easily forgotten.
D. School subjects.
10. What is the author’s opinion on cramming?
A. It leads to failure in college exams.
B. It’s possible to result in poor memory.
C. It’s helpful only in a limited way.
D. It’s the best way to learn a collage course.
11. The passage is mainly about ______.
A. People remember well what they learned in childhood
B. What the secret of having a good memory is
C. The advantages and disadvantages of cramming
D. Overlearning helps us remember things longer

Searching the Internet may help middle-aged and older adults keep their memories sharp,US researchers said.
Researchers at the University of California, Los Angeles ,studied people doing web searches by recording their brain activity.
“What we saw was people who had Internet experience used more of their brain during the search,”Dr.Gary Small, a UCLA expert on aging, said,“This suggests that just searching on the Internet may train the brain and that it may keep it active and healthy.”
“This is the first time anyone has simulated(模拟)an Internet search task while scanning the brain,”Small said. His team studied 24 normal volunteers between the ages of 55 and 76. Half were experienced at searching the Internet and the other half had no web experience. However, the two groups were similar in age, gender and education.
Both groups were asked to do Internet searches and book reading tasks while their brain activity was monitored.
“We found that in the book reading task, the visual cortex— the part of the brain that controls reading and language — was activated,”Small said,“In doing the Internet search task, there was much greater activity, but only in the Internet-savvy(了解)group.”
He said it appears that people who are familiar with the Internet can engage in much deeper level of brain activity. Activities that keep the brain engaged can preserve brain health and thinking ability. Small thinks learning to do Internet searches may be one of those activities.
