19. When we have different opinion on organizing class activities, what should we do to deal with a situation? As for me, if I have a better idea, I will choose to stick to it. Do so, I can share good ideas with others. Besides, it’s possibly for me to learn to express myself clearly. Once we were discussing whether to go for an outing. Most of classmates wanted to go to a park, but I thought different: why not go to the countryside? Late, I persuaded them into accepting my idea. We have a good time that day. Good opinions are worth sticking to because they can benefit from us all.

第二处:a →the。
第三处:Do →Doing。
It is possible (for sb.) to do sth .
第五处:whether →where。根据下文中的"wanted to go to a park" "go to the countryside"可知,这里是在讨论到哪里去郊游,而不是是否去郊游。故用where。
第九处:have →had。
benefit from表示"从……

21. Let me start by saying that I don't have a smartphone, but I probably will in the future.I think smartphones are basically awesome and I have nothing against the basic idea of using smartphones.
My problem starts when the lines between fun and work, between alone and together, between communication and confusion﹣become blurred.I've just returned from two years in a different country, and haven't been around my friends for a while. The first several times I met them all,I was surprised to discover that even though we're all sitting around in the same room, people are actually sitting around smartphones and playing/surfing/taking pictures.
Smartphones made it easier than ever before to access e﹣mails everywhere.Whether you're on the bus,in bed or at the bar with your friends﹣your e﹣mails are right there and available to you and this can definitely be a problem.Work is great, but is answering e﹣mails at 3a.m.really necessary?Do you really want to have to choose between friends and work when you're hanging out in a bar, just because you happened to see that e﹣mail?
Smartphones revolutionized our lives.I'm not here to oppose that. But should they replace many of the other things we used to be doing, together and alone? If you think about it for a minute,I'm sure you'll find someone you know who sometimes finds it hard to draw the line between phone time and people time. This has been a problem for a while, but smartphones make it that much worse. So don't throw away your smartphones just yet; but do try to remember,at the end of the day, they're just phones!

Whether you're on the bus,in bed or at the bar with your friends﹣your e﹣mails are right there and available to you and this can definitely be a problem"(无论你是在车上、床上还是和朋友一起在酒吧,你的邮件都在而且你也可以收到它们﹣﹣这有可能绝对是个问题)可知本题答案为A选项.

An idea that started in Seattle's public library has spread throughout America and beyond. The concept is simple: help to build a sense of community in a city by getting everyone to read the same book at the same time.
In addition to encouraging reading as a pursuit(追求) to be enjoyed by all, the program allows strangers to communicate by discussing the book on the bus, as well as promoting reading as an experience to be shared in families and schools. The idea came from Seattle librarian Nancy Pearl who launched(发起) the "If All of Seattle Read the Same Book " project in 1998. Her original program used author visits, study guides and book discussion groups to bring people together with a book, but the idea has since expanded to many other American cities, and even to Hong Kong.
In Chicago, the mayor(市长) appeared on television to announce the choice of To Kill a Mockingbird as the first book in the "One Book, One Chicago" program. As a result, reading clubs and neighborhood groups sprang up around the city. Across the US, stories emerged of parents and children reading to each other at night and strangers chatting away on the bus about plot and character.
The only problem arose in New York, where local readers could not decide on one book to represent the huge and diverse population. This may show that the idea works best in medium-sized cities or large towns, where a greater sense of unity can be achieved. Or it may show that New Yorkers rather missed the point, putting all their energy and passion into the choice of the book rather than discussion about a book itself.
Ultimately, as Nancy points out, the level of success is not measured by how many people read a book, but by how many people are enriched by the process, or have enjoyed speaking to someone with whom they would not otherwise have shared a word.
45. What is the purpose of the project launched by Nancy?
A. To invite authors to guide readers.
B. To encourage people to read and share.
C. To involve people in community service. ks5u
D. To promote the friendship between cities.
46. According to the passage, where would the project be more easily carried out?
A. In large communities with little sense of unity.
B. In large cities where libraries are far from home.
C. In medium-sized cities with a diverse population.
D. In large towns where agreement can be quickly reached.
47. The underlined words “shared a word” in Paragraph 5 probably mean .
A. exchanged ideas with each other
B. discussed the meaning of a word
C. gained life experience
D. used the same language
48. According to Nancy, the degree of success of the project is judged by .
