5B M1U2 Watch it grow!
第二单元以“看它成长”为话题,要求学生能掌握自然世界中昆虫、动物不同阶段的表达名称与成长过程;能运用一般过去时态(主要是to be句型)的It was... Now it is...及were, are等句式来表达成长过程中生命体的变化过程,尤其是蝴蝶、蚕、青蛙、鸡和鸭子等的成长过程。在此基础上,引导学生感受大自然生命形式的不同,让学生感受身边和谐共生的大千世界。
知识要点介绍
1)学习和掌握词汇:egg, cocoon, caterpillar, chicken, duckling, puppy, grow, fly, was, were等,做到音、形、义的统一。
2)学习并掌握to be动词一般过去时态的陈述句表达,... was \ were...,了解使用的正确方法。适当兼顾其他句式的学习与使用。
3)继续掌握一般现在时态的用法,能正确运用第三人称单数做主语时的动词形式表达。
4)了解并能对某种动物或者昆虫的成长过程进行适当描述。
5)学习并掌握字母组合-ere, -ear, -air, -eer的发音,如here, hair, wear等。

注意点:
1. 一些本课涉及到的单词过去式:
is---was
am---was
are---were
has---had

can--could
2. It is a red apple. 把句子变成过去时:It was a red apple.
注意把动词改成它的过去式。
3. 过去时的句子变成一般疑问句是把be动词提前:
It was a red apple.--------Was it a red apple? Yes, it was. No, it wasn’t.
