Ask the Ss some questions about the travel that they have ever been before Step 2 Reading 1。 Teach some words and short phrases through pictures。 2。 Ask the Ss to scan the passage and answer the question: What is the writer’s feeling about her trip to Disneyland? 3. Ask the Ss to scan the passage and tick true and false on P 8. 4. Read again and find out the timing words and phrases of the passage and try to complete the table on on P 8。 5。 Explain some language points in it. 6。 Guide the Ss to find out the topic sentences and concluding sentences. 7. Ask the Ss to read the passage after the tape and teacher can help explain the useful phrases. Step3 Practice 1. go over Activities3 and Activities4 and guide to the Ss tell the travel notice. 2. Teacher explains the differences between adjective with –ing and adjective with –ed。 3. Guide the Ss to complete the table in Activity5 with nouns and adjective about a place the Ss visted. 4。 Show the teacher’s article about her travel to Ss to have them imitate。 5. Display some short passages。 Step 6 Summary and homework 1. T sum up what we have learned today with the Ss。 2。 Homework Read the word and expressions fluently and prepare for the diction: Journey; unforgettable; no matter; go wrong; discover; admission ticket; visa; electrical; put out; amazing; All the Ss: Preview words and expressions in the passage. Show some pictures Explain the meaning of the words and expressions. And pay attention to some particular words and phrase: arrive: arrive in/at; determine: be determined to do; amazed: amazing; Learn the directions on a compass. And then complete the paragraph with the directions。 N=north; S=south; E=east; W=west; NE= northeast; NW= northwest; SE= southeast; SW= southwest; Guide Greet the T.
