2. It was great to hear from you,and I can’t wait to meet you.
（1）hear from sb. 意为“得到某人的消息；收到某人的信件”
例如：I look forward to hearing from you. 我盼望收到你的来信。
（2）sb.can’t wait (to do sth.) 意为“某人等不及（要做某事）了”。
例如：We can’t wait to meet our new teacher.我们等不及想要见到我们的新老师。
3. I spend a lot of time playing classical music with my friends at school.
spend ... (in) doing sth. 意为“花费……做某事”，spend 后常接时间或金钱作宾语。
例如：I spent half an hour (in) doing my homework.
我花了半小时的时间做作业。
Lingling spent 10 yuan (in) mending her bike.
玲玲修理她的自行车花了10元。
4. My brother is in the school tennis team—I’m very proud of him.
be proud of... 意为“为……而感到骄傲”，其中of为介词，后接名词、代词、或V-ing形式，
例如：Daming is very proud of his model car.
大明为他的汽车模型感到非常自豪。
