In reply, we regret our being unable to grant your request, as we stated during our negotiations that payment should be made by a confirmed, irrevocable L/C payable by draft at sight. In view of our friendly relations, we, however, exceptionally agree to accept L/C payable by draft at 60 days’ sight. We hope this accommodation will result in your procuring large orders for us. We are awaiting your L/C at an early date, upon receipt of which we shall arrange shipment without delay.
