Dear Sir/Madam,
I’m Li Hua. I’m so excited to hear China Daily needs some volunteers to introduce Chinese culture overseas that I can’t wait to sign up .
First, I have developed an outgoing and open-minded personality, which makes it easy to get along well with others. Second, I often act as a volunteer in my hometown to show foreign tourists around and introduce them Chinese history and culture. Last but not least, I have a good command of English. So I believe I’m the very person you’re looking for.

Yours,
LiHua

I just wanted to bring you a gift.” The little boy handed him the dog figurine. Looking at the boy, the old man was too surprised to say anything and simply smiled in tears, as no one had ever shown him so much kindness.
From that day on something changed inside the old man. He started coming out of the house and talking to his neighbors. Soon, he and the boy became friends. The boy visited the old man frequently and brought his real live dog to his house once in a while. He even invited the old man to join his family for Christmas dinner. Text 10
M:Seagulls are large, noisy birds. They can appear friendly, especially to visitors who have brought a picnic! It can be amusing to watch the birds fighting over little pieces of bread or chips. However, when animals get used to being fed by humans, they will lose their fear of them and may become aggressive. Seagulls are not very dangerous, but they have been known for attacking humans, usually the people that are holding food. In some
places, the seagulls even affect the business of snack shops. The usual food sources of seagulls, and all birds, are affected by climate change, so their feeding habits are changing. Seagulls have been seen eating rabbits and even other seagulls. Sometimes, they will even drink beer. Seagulls can be scared off for a moment by waving your arms or running towards them. In areas where they are very common, it might be best to walk with an umbrella. When a seagull realizes that it is being watched, it will wait 21seconds longer before approaching a bag of chips. So avoid offering seagulls any kind of human food.
