一、教材内容
本节课是《开心英语》四年级上册 Unit4 My Day的第二课时,教学内容为Story部分。
二、学生分析
本课时的授课对象是小学四年级的学生。这些学生从三年级就开始了英语学习,对英语有强烈的好奇心和兴趣,已经建立了英语学习的意识,储备了一定的英语词汇,具备简单的英语语言运用能力,他们在课堂上表现出了积极参与课堂和乐于表达的良好学习习惯。对于本节课的教学内容来说,是他们已经接触过的时间话题,学生对此充满了好奇,所以他们更加乐于参与本课的活动。
三、教学目标:
1、 知识目标
⑴ 能听懂、会说和会读4个单词或短语:lake, tomorrow, wake up, go to sleep。
⑵ 能听懂、会说和会读句型:What time is it? It’s...It’s time to…
2.能力目标
能在正确运用新词和新句的基础上,在真实的环境里运用自如。
3、 情感态度和学习策略
⑴通过启发式教学途径,鼓励学生拓展思维,把对话内容和生活实际联系起来,使其更好地掌握和使用对话内容。
⑵帮助学生了解如何在恰当的时间里做相应的事情。
四、教学重难点
1.重点:能听懂、会说和会读4个单词或短语:lake, tomorrow, wake up, go to sleep。能听懂、会说和会读句型:What time is it? It’s...It’s time to…
2.难点:单词tomorrow的发音,wake up 与get up 的区别。

Step1. Warm-up
1.Greetings
T: Hello,boys and girls. What time is it? Ss: It’s 2:30.
T: It’s time to have English class.
2.(戴上Tony头饰)T: Hello,I’m Tony. Nice to meet you.
Do you want to know something about me?
I will tell you something about my day to you . (点题My Day)
3.Let’s chant and do the action.
Step2. Presentation
A.Pre-reading
1.T: Look at the picture. Can you use “What” to ask questions?
2. Learn the new phrases:wake up,go to sleep and make sentences.
3.Explain the key word.:tomorrow
T: What day is it today?
Ss: It’s Friday.
T:Tomorrow is Saturday.
4.Lead in:Tomorrow is a good day. I’m going to have fun with Gogo. Come with us. Let’s read the story on Page26.
B. While-reading
1.The first reading.
a.Listen and watch VCD.
b.Think and choose:
When do Tony and Gogo going to the lake?
Tony and Gogo are going to the lake ______.
( today tomorrow)
c. Look and guess:
Which picture is for the “lake”.
2. The second reading.
Read after the tape and answer the questions.
(1)Is 3:15 the time to go to the lake ?
(2) Is 4:30 the time to go to the lake ?
(3)Is 5:45 the time to go to the lake?
3. The third reading.
a. Read the story with your partner.
b.Ask and answer the question.
① What time do they go to the lake?
② What is Gogo doing ?
C.Post-reading
1.Role play.
