一、教学目标:
知识目标:
1、听懂、会说、会读、会认词汇:pop music, Chinese music, erhu, zither, guitar, drums ;
2 基本能听懂、会说、会读、会认句型:
… is better/worse than … .
What music do you like? I like pop music. I can play the erhu.
技能目标:能进行评价和比较。
情感目标:激发学习英语的兴趣,从小养成良好的学习习惯; 培养良好的自信心,敢于用英语表达自己的看法。
二、教学重、难点:
1、 词汇:popmusic,Chinese music,erhu,zither,guitar,drums
2、句型: … is better/worse than … .
三、教学用具:磁带、录音机、单词卡 、挂图等。
Teaching steps:
Step1: Warm-up
1: Greetings
T: What’s the weather like today?
Ss: It’s cloudy.
T: What day is it today? Ss: Today is Thursday.
T: What day is it tomorrow? Ss: Tomorrow is Friday.
2、let’s sing a song.
3.Chant it together.
4.play PPT,look and compare.(练习比较级。)
Step2: Presentation
I like listening to music. Do you like music? Now ,children.Let’s listen to some music.(出示二胡的演奏) 请同学们听完后告诉我那是什么乐器演奏的。What instrument?
S1: 二胡。
T: Yes, you are right. It’s erhu.
(出示单词卡erhu,认读、拼读单词。)
2、T:Now let’s continue our listening.(出示古筝的演奏)
Who can tell me?
S2: 古筝。
T: Great. It’s zither.
(出示单词卡zither,表演拉古筝的动作,领读。)
Erhu and zither are Chinese music.学习Chinese music
3、T: Look! What’s this?
S3: 吉他。
T: Good! It’s guitar.
(出示单词卡guitar,表演拉吉他的动作,领读。)
3、T: Boys and girls, let’s see another picture. What’s that?
S4: 鼓。
T: Right! It’s drum.
(出示单词卡drums,表演鼓的动作,领读。)
4、T:Please listen to music again. Do you like this kind of music? Do you know what it is?
S5: I like this kind of music. It’s pop music.
S6: It’s Chinese music.
T: Now look at the blackboard,大家仔细看看这些表达弹奏乐器的词组,你能发现什么?
S7: 在乐器的前面都有“the”.
T:是的,在乐器的前面都有“the”所以大家要记住凡是说弹奏某种乐器时要在乐器前加“the”.Now,let’s read these words again.(领读黑板上的词组)
5、Play PPT. T: What can they do?(学习四种乐器)
6.让学生到前面做动作,让学生齐说短语,请学生说短语,大家做动作。
7.Ask and answer:
T: What music do you like ?
S: I like pop music. I think...
Step3:讲解课文
T:We all like music. Daming,Lingling,Sam,Amy like music ,too.Open your books and page 24.Look at your books and listen to the tape and answer questions
1.Listen and answer question.
Q1: What kind of music do Lingling and Daming like?
Q2:What kind of music do Sam and Amy like?
2.listen to the tape ,repeat after tape.
3.listen again and answer queations.
Q1:What instrument can they play?
Q2:Who is better?
Q3:Who is worse?
4.look at the picture and have a free talk.
Step4: Practice
1.listen to music.
2、play a game: Who is better
2、“我与明星比一比 ”—请学生收集自己最喜欢的(体育或娱乐)明星的图片,给图片配文并向组员或全班进行讲述,渗透情感教育。
Sc: This is… He/She can play table tennis. I can play table tennis,too. But he/she is better than me . I am worse than him/her.
Step5: Homework
1.Production—“ 我喜欢的乐器”调查表
A: what music do you like?
B: I like pop music . I can play the guitar.
Step6: Summary
