九年级英语lesson1: 《what’s wrong , Danny ?》 教学设计

一 、设计思路
这节课内容是关于看病就医的话题,贴近生活且与每个学生的生活息息相关,让学生意识到在日常生活中要养成饮食习惯,鼓励学生要坚持锻炼身体,选择健康的生活方式,适宜学生自主探究。为了解决教学中听、说、读、写、枯燥单一的问题,运用多媒体教学,使知识容量大,视觉效果非同凡响,不同的画面给学生营造一个生动而富有情趣的语言环境。
二、 教学目标
1. 知识与能力
A、知识目标:
(1)要求学生掌握新单词:fever hospital nurse Sara pain weak spirit abdomen 听说读写,而且会正确使用。
(2)要求学生掌握本节课的重点短语和句型:wake up get dressed get a bad fever take sb. to somewhere .
(3)要求学生掌握看病用语:What’s wrong ? I don’t feel well . My stomach hurts. You have got a bad fever .You will be all right . How are you feeling ? I have got a pain .
B、能力目标:
(1)培养学生自学能力,竞争意识,锻炼学生踊跃发言的胆识。
(2)主动在听说交际中运用课文中的语言知识。
(3) 熟悉有关看病就医的习惯表达。
2. 方法与途径
谈话导入课题,采用多媒体课件出示图片,设置问题。通过小组读、小组做对话的形式,由浅入深地引导学生学习本课,掌握看病就医的日常用语,整个过程体现了以学生为主体的开放性、民主性的语言活动。
3. 情感态度与价值观
让学生在小组活动中,扮演医生和病人的角色,运用看病的日常用语。培养了学生在小组活动中积极与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成学习任务并敢于用英语进行表达。
三、教学重点与难点
1. 掌握新单词与重点短语。
2. 运用所学句子去编写对话。
四、教学准备
多媒体课件, 看病用的听诊器、药品等。
五、教学过程:
Step1: Greeting
出示图片:提问:T : If you don’t feel well , What should you do ?
S1: I will go to the hospital to see a doctor .
S2: I will take my temperature .
S3: I will take some medicine .
(将学生的注意力吸引到课堂中,创设美妙的英语氛围)
Step2: we will learn the new words.
(教师先教读单词,然后出示短文进行检测。)
My name is -------- (莎拉) , I have been a --------- (护士)for ten years , I work in the --------------(医院) . I have a friend named Danny . He got a bad ------- (发烧)and his ----------- (腹部)got a ----------- (疼痛)yesterday . He is ---------- (弱的)in poor --------(精神) now.
Step3: listen to the tape and answer the question : What ’s wrong with Danny ?
S: His stomach hurts , He has got a bad fever .
T: Does he go to the hospital to see a doctor ?
S : Yes , he does .
Step4: Read the text and choose the “True” or “False” questions.

T: Look at these useful sentences , can you translate them into English ?
S :Yes .
T :The first sentence : notice the red phrase ,Do you know what the meaning is “wake up ”?
S: 叫醒某人。
T: wake up sb. = wake sb. up (名词放中间或者后面) eg: Danny wakes up his parents.= Danny wakes his parents up . (代词放中间) eg :Danny wakes them up .
T: The second one : You have got a bad fever .We can also say : You have caught a bad fever.
S : get a bad fever = catch a bad fever .患感冒。
T : Look at the third one : What’s the meaning of “get dressed “
S: 表示穿衣的动作。
T : For example :1. Get dressed quickly , or you will be late for school .
2.He got dressed quickly and went out .
T: Do you know “dress oneself ”?
S : 给某人自己穿衣服。
T :For example : 1. my son is too young to dress himself .
2. You are old enough to dress yourselves .
T :The fourth one : take sb. to somewhere .
S :带某人去某地。
T : For example : I took my son to the Chao Yang park last week . The Chao Yang park is very beautiful and interesting . Have you ever been to the Chao Yang park ?
S : No ,I haven’t .
T : Would you to go with me ?
S : Yes , I would like to .
T : I will take you to the Chao Yang park this Sunday . Are you happy ?
S : Yes ,I am happy .
T : The last one : What ‘s the meaning of “in poor spirits” ?
S : 神情沮丧。
T : Why ?
S : Because his stomach hurts . He has got a bad fever.
Step6 : Find out sentences about seeing a doctor .
T : Ask six students to read the text . The other students listen carefully and find out the sentences about seeing a doctor .
S1 : What ‘s wrong ?
S2 : I don’t feel well . My stomach hurts .
S3 : You will be all right .
S4: How are you feeling ?
T : Write down these sentences . I give you any other sentences , Can you guess what the meaning they are ? Have you taken your temperature ? It’s not high . It’s nothing serious . Take this medicine three times a day .
S: 你量过体温了吗?不高, 没什么严重的,吃这种药一天三次。
T : Write down above sentences .
Step7 :Make up a dialogue .
T : Suppose you are ill ,You go to the hospital to see a doctor . Make up a dialogue with sentences about seeing a doctor in your groups .Four students in each group .
S : Act out the dialogue .

教学反思:
在外语学习过程中,由于外界因素的影响,学习者会出现焦虑、沮丧、烦燥不安等情况,英语教师作为教学活动的组织者,应注意对外语学习者情感因素的培养和控制,因此,在课堂教学中,教师要十分尊重学生,注意激励学生,关注学生学习过程,尤其要注意体察学生在课堂上的心理感受,亲近学生,使学生喜爱英语教师和英语课,从而提高英语课堂教学的效果。
1、 尊重每个学生,积极鼓励他们大胆地尝试
本节课的教学,设置了三大板块:单词教学、短语教学和对话教学。为了照顾到每一个同学,我设置的问题由易到难,由浅而深,满足不同层次学生的需要,并注意抓住每一个时机来激发学生学习的兴趣,注意对学生的学习行为、学习结果和反应等,做出客观、公正、热情、诚恳的评价,消除学生的胆怯心理,帮助他们树立起自信心。
2、循序引导,寓教于乐,为学生营造轻松的学习氛围
在学习过程中,我首先通过日常生活的对话,拉近与学生的距离,消除他们的厌倦和恐慌心理,很自然地导入新课;其次,改变传统的单词教学方法,寓枯燥的单词学习于一个很有深意的故事短文之中,增强学生的好奇心,使学生在听故事的过程中完成对新单词的认识和记忆;第三,突出重点,通过出示重点句子的幻灯片,让学生汉译英,教师在其中列举日常生活的事例加以说明,使学生能很快融会贯通,把握文章的精粹和重心。通过引导,学生的学习兴趣越来越浓,课堂的效果和氛围也越来越好。
3、理论加实践,培养学生学以致用的能力
在教学过程中,注重学生的听、说、读、写的综合能力,鼓励他们大胆地说,并运用到实际中去。例如,让6名同学扮演不同的角色朗读课文,其余的学生聆听,在听的过程中,找出看病用语,并把看病用语写到本子上,然后读会,接着让学生用所学句子编写对话。另外,找来听诊器、药品、绷带等道具,分四个组让学生在小组内扮演医生和病人的角色,通过创设真实的场景操炼,来增强学生参与的主动性和实际应用能力,形成师生互动、生生互动的良好氛围,从而提高学生的听、读、说、写等能力。
总之,在日常教学中,要不断地创新方法,大胆探索,这样才能激发学生的好奇心和学习兴趣,使学生在轻松的氛围中享受学习英语的快乐,达到事半功倍的目的。
