初中英语写作任务教学设计
教学设计理念
英语课程标准明确倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和”任务型”的教学途径,发展学生的综合运用语言能力。如何将“任务型”的教学思想运用于教学实践是我们努力探讨的课题,本节课尝试在初中英语复习教学中采用任务型教学途径,以初中英语写作为载体,以话题为主线,以任务为中心,以小组活动为主要形式,把综合语言运用能力的培养落实在教学过程中,在完成任务的过程中提高写作技能,发展语言能力、思维能力、想象能力以及交流与合作的能力。
教学对象分析
初中英语教学大纲要求学生能依照所学过的题材或话题,利用所给的范例写简短的书信、便条和通知等;并能表达自己的观点。学生经过初一和初二年级的写作训练,到初三已基本熟悉了应用文的题材,此时的教学重点应是引导学生巩固、提高和运用已初步掌握的写作技能,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
教学目标
1、 培养学生听、说、读、写技能和运用所学知识进行表达和写作能力。
2、 培养学生的思维、想象能力,特别是创造性思维能力。
3、 培养学生讨论、交流与合作学习的能力。
4、 培养学生学习英语的兴趣和自主学习的能力。
学习任务设计
以“话题”为主线,围绕话题将初中英语应用写作文体“串联”起来,形
成一个完整的故事。任务设计提供给学习者明确、真实的语言信息。学生通过一系列任务的训练,完成下列各文体的写作,并在交际中进行真实运用。
任务1 看图写故事(write a story)
任务2 写电话留言(write a telephone message)
任务3 写请假条(write a note of asking for leave)
任务4 写信(write a letter)
任务5 写日记(write a diary)
任务6 发送电子邮件(send an e-mail)
教学辅助手段:
借助多媒体辅助教学,把教师的思维形象地展示给学生,利用多媒体的优美画面和声音效果,有效地调动学生的视觉、听觉等各个器官参加活动,提高学生的学习兴趣,启发学生的发散性思维和创造性思维。
教学过程
I.Warm up :
1、Greetings and a finger-play song to warm up.
(Where is Father? Where is Father?Here I am. Here I am.How are you today? Very well,thank you.Run away,run away.)
2、Lead-in:As we know, there are four important skills in English learning .They are listening ,speaking ,reading and writing. But in this lesson we just pay more attention to writing, and at the same time you are acquired to listen, to speak and to read. When talking about writing, can you write a story(a telephone message, a note of asking for leave ,a letter,a diary or even to sent an e-mail)?That’s what we are going to do today.
II. Writing Procedure
任务一:How to write a story
Do you ever write a story according to the picture? Do you ever go on a trip or picnic?.OK, let’s begin our story with the picnic. That is our topic for today. Look at the picture. (show the picnic on the screen) (创设故事情景,让学生入境。)
(Try to make it easier for students to write by asking some questions)What season it is? What’s the weather like? What’s Li Hong going to do? Who is she going with? How do they go? Do they bring anything to eat or drink? Do they have a good time or not?.Write a short passage about 60-80words.First discuss in group, and write, then report.(以问题形式帮助学生理清思路,发挥学生想象力,准确表达画中“picnic”内容。)

It is spring now .It’s neither too hot nor too cold.What a fine day it is!Li Hong is going to the farm for a picnic with her parents and her sister.They are going by car.They want to see all kinds of animals and enjoy the beautiful scenery there.
They bring a lot of delicious food and drink with them.They will have lunch on
the farm.How happy they are.They enjoy ourselves very much.
任务二:. How to write a telephone message
(Go on with the story引导故事的发展,Li Hong 在野炊中受伤,得上医院)It’s getting late and it’s time to go back. Suddenly Li Hong falls down and hurts her leg .She was hurt so badly that she can’t move. What do you think her parents will do? (学生自然说出:Go to the hospital.)
Now Li Hong is in hospital. She can’t go to school. What do you think she have to do to her teacher? (Ss:To ask for sick leave.) Now her mother is calling her teacher, Miss Lin, but she isn’t here right now. Mr Gao answers the phone and then writes down the telephone message. (屏幕显示Mother在医院打电话给老师请假:给学生创设写电话留言的真实情境,让学生顺利完成“电话留言”)
Listen to the dialogue and write the telephone massage.
Gao: Hello.
Mum:Hello. May I speak to Miss Lin,please?
Gao I’m afraid she isn’t here right now.Can I take a message for you?
Mum:Yes,please.This is Li Hong’s mother.My daughter fell down and
hurt herself on Sunday morning.She is in hospital now.She can’t go to school.
Gao: Oh,I’m very sorry to hear that.I’ll give her the message.
Mum:Thank you very much.Goodbye.
Gao: Bye.

任务三:How to write a note of asking for leave
(Go on with the story:继续引导故事的发展,电话请假后,给老师写书面“请假条”) To ask for leave, it’s not enough only to telephone your teacher. You have to write a note. Suppose you are Li Hong, please write a note of asking for a sick leave. Discuss in group, then write.

Dear Miss Lin
I’m sorry to ask you for leave for about ten days because my leg was badly hurt while I was having a picnic on Sunday morning.I’ll work hard at my lessons.Please don’t worry about me.

任务四:How to write a letter
(Li Hong住院期间,收到同学来信,需要回信)Now let’s go on with the story. Li Hong is in hospital for three days. She got some letters from her friends. She has to write back. Here is a letter from her best friend, Chen Lu. Listen and answer the letter.
A letter from Chen Lu:
Datian No.5 Middle School
April 21,2003
Dear Li Hong,
How are you now?Are you getting a little better? We hope you will be all right soon.
Yesterday our class had our P.E test.We had 50-meter race and long jump. Most of us did well. But some of us are not good at the other exercises. Maybe we have to practise more.
Next week we are going to have an English exam. Everybody is busy getting ready for it.But you don’t have to worry about it because you are so good at English.And you don’t have to worry about the other lessons.We will help you when you come back to school.
Please write to us and tell us something about yourself in hospital if you can. Good luck to you.

任务五:How to write a diary

任务六:How to send an e-mail
(最后将整个经过写下来,用e-mail形式发送给朋友或亲戚)
Write the whole story and send an e-mail to me or to your teacher or your friends.Discuss in group and write the story.
Ⅲ、Conclusions:
1:Sumarize what we have done in this lesson
2.Encourage them to meet the challenge: Work hard and everyone will succeed in different ways. Remember: Life is challenge to everybody. Just meet it. To end with the following:”Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a game, enjoy it”
在本节课任务型语言教学中,教师始终从学生“学”的角度来设计教学活动,使学生的学习活动具有明确的目标,并构成一个有梯度的联系系列。在课堂教学中时时把语言学习和生活实际联系起来,让学生在完成任务的过程中,得到运用语言的机会,掌握写作技能,同时不断地获得知识或得出结论,从而获得语言运用能力,提高学生写作能力。
