Learning to give up in life is also a sort of wisdom. Once I dreamed becoming a football star, enjoying great popularity among teenager and winning great reputation for my country. Therefore, there is no such thing which we can achieve without natural talent. Though I practiced heart and soul, but I just couldn’t make it. But I was not such stubborn a child. I choose to give up because I came to realize that I didn’t have a gift for it. I have been occupying with study since then. As you can see, I live a colorful and happily life now. Sometimes choosing to give up is not to give in. so you can try them when you face a challenge.

When will the leaning tower of Pisa fall over?
Since the first stone was laid, the tower of Pisa in Italy 61 (be) a Keystone Kops version of architecture. Not long after construction began in 1173, when 62 (builder) reached the third story, the thing began to tilt (倾斜). They’d 63 (clever) built it on a foundation of mud, sand and clay. It was kind of like quicksand, basically.
64 took hundreds of years to complete the building. Architects tried columns of different heights to even out the lean---which of course made things 65 (bad). And giving the tower a bit of an interesting, how should we say, “banana” shape. As late as 1935, engineers managed 66 (do) exactly the wrong thing to try to shore up the tower. By the 1990s, it was tilting 5.5 degrees to the south. That was just past the point at which it was supposed to collapse.
Finally, someone figured out that it might help to just gently remove some of the soil under the north side of the building, away 67 the list. It is hard to imagine 68 the good ship Pisa didn’t start to right itself.
Now it lists(倾斜) at a 69 (comfort) and perfect 4 degrees. The tower is in no immediate risk of 70 (fall) down. Unless there’s a massive earthquake, tornado or something.

Last week, my sister told me she is looking for a dress to wear for upcoming wedding. I told her I had been picked out one of my dress and was willing to lend her the dress. However, five days later I heard a voice, where said “Give it to her.” My friend Mindy does this often. She just gives away her own things for others. But I called my sister, suggesting that she accept the dress as a gift from me without give it back. After much convincing, she happy accepted. It was much better to give the dress, rather than to own them.

On Friday, about 50 students from different class, including me, were chosen to take part the contest. Every one of us tried hardly. When finally it was announced that I won the first prize, I was very much happy and proud. Beautiful handwriting made both reading and writing a pleasure, that is of great importance to us students. I will continue practicing it in the future.

Many children spend a lot of time play games and surfing the Internet, but it’s becoming a serious problem. I think the problem can be solved by banning all computer games, because some people will get the games secret and keep harming the young students.
So, I suggest the following measures are taken. Firstly, we should give people, especially children, much choices after class so that they don’t go to the Internet bar. It’s also important to talk to them and help them develop an ability to distinguish from good and bad. And at last, parents should be responsible for your children and not leave them alone in playing computer games. They should give directions to them and advise them to take part in meaningful activities.
