On Object Complement Teaching aims: Knowledge aims: 1. Get the students to understand the Object Complement; 2. Get the students to apply the Object Complement to writing. Ability aims: 1. Help students analyze the sentence structure with Object Complement; 2. Let students grasp how to write sentences with it. Teaching procedures: 一、定义: 宾语补足语通常紧跟在宾语之后,对宾语进行补充说明。 二、句子结构是: The teacher encouraged me to try again. 主 + 谓 + 宾+宾补 He was asleep, with the window open。 With + 宾 + 宾补(with的复合结构) 三、什么成分能充当宾补? What can be used as Object Complement? n. / adj. /adv. / 介词短语 / v.原型(不带to的不定式) /v- ing/ v-ed / to do(带to的不定式) 请写出以下宾补的成分 ( )1.We chose him our monitor. ( )2.We must make our classroom clean. ( )3.He found the light on. ( )4.The firemen got the fire under control. ( )5.The teacher let him stand out. ( )6.Did you hear someone singing? ( )7.The parents make their children educated. ( )8.The doctor advised me to have a rest. 四、宾语补足语的用法 Part 1感观动词(sense verbs) see, notice, hear, do 表示看到全过程 listen to, watch, +sb./sth.+ doing 表示动作正在进行 feel, observe等 done 表示动作已经被完成 a rabbit ____(run) into a tree, and it died at once. We saw the couple _______ together. the man _____ (take) to the hospital. I heard her_____ (sing) a song just now. She was heard ______ (sing) a song just now. 注意:在被动结构中,不定式符号to 须还原: be heard to do 练一练 1. I heard her________ (sing) a song when I passed by her room yesterday. 2. Did you see a car _______(drive) away. 3. He was seen________(cross)the street. Part 2使役动词 Have/make/let/get+宾语+宾补 Mom had/made/let me ________________.(do the homework) Mom got me __________________.(do the homework) Mom had /got me __________________ the whole night.(do the homework) The next day, my teacher had/got/made my homework ___________(check). 总结 使役动词+省略to的不定式(但get sb __________ ) do与宾语为________关系,单纯表示一件事实 doing与宾语为_______ 关系,强调动作___________ done 与宾语为_______ 关系,强调动作___________ 练一练 1.At my school they make us _____ (wear) school uniform. →We are made ________school uniform. 2.We want the house _________(decorate) by January 1st . 3. Part3:情感类动词+sb.+(not) to do sth. advise(无suggest), allow,beg,ask, expect ,encourage,force,forbid ,invite, permit, remind send, require ,teach, tell, train, want, warn, wish(无hope), order, would like , 等等. 1.I wish you _________(have)a good trip. 2.He advised me ____________(not drink )again. 3.They asked me________( give) up smoking. 建议某人做某事:advise sb to do sth.(√) suggest sb to do sth (×) 希望某人做某事:wish sb to do sth(√) hope sb to do sth(×) Part4:特殊动词keep/leave/catch/find+宾语+宾补 The cat kept /left the mice________ (run). The policeman caught /found him _________(steal) the money. The girl was tired, leaving her homework __________ (unfinish). 总结: doing (动作正在进行) keep/leave/find+宾语+宾补 done(动作已经完成) catch +sb+ doing sth to do(×) 练一练 1. The doctor asked him not to leave his wound _________(expose). 2. It’s so cold today; we must keep the fire______ (burn). 4. She caught her son________ (smoke). Part5: with的复合结构:with+宾语+宾补 1.
