二. 情景导入
Show students new words in page 70, write on the blackboard. Make the students read.
Show the six pictures and explain the new phrases to Ss.
T: Sally and Jim had a busy weekend. Look at the pictures. Can you tell me what they did?
T: What did Sally do yesterday?
S: She flew a kite yesterday. She flies a kite every week.
T: What did Jim do yesterday?
S: He swam yesterday. He swims every week.
(Help Ss to use the other phrases in 1a to answer the questions. such as sang and played the guitar, studied for a test, had dinner with friends, went to the library.)
三.合作探究
1. Work on 1a & 1b
通过对每幅图片的描述,引导学生由使用旧知识过渡到自主使用新知识。同时要求学生用一般过去时回答问题,并使用一般现在时来描述事实。
2. Listening practice
(1)Work on 1c. Listen. What did Sally and Jim do last weekend? Complete the chart.
(2) Role-play. Ask some pairs to perform their conversation to the class.
锻炼学生提取细节信息的能力,并且考察学生新短语的书写。
3. Pairwork
Work on 1d. Make a conversation with a partner. Talk about what Sally and Jim did last weekend.
帮助学生使用第三人称进行谈论。
4. Work on 1e
Make a conversation. Ask what your partner did last weekend.
Give Ss some phrases that they can use, such as zoo, school, beach, my aunt’s, mother, father, my best friend … They can use these phrases to make their conversations.
四.点拨总结
一般过去时的基本结构:
(1)肯定句:主语+动词过去式+其他。或者主语+was/ were+其他。
e.g. I played tennis last weekend. 我上周末打网球了。
My school trip was great. 我的学校郊游棒极了。
(2)否定句:主语+didn’t+动词原形+其他,或主语+wasn’t/ weren’t+其他。e.g. He didn’t play computer games yesterday.他昨天没有玩电子游戏。
(3)一般疑问句:Did+主语+动词原形+其他?肯定回答:Yes, 主语+did.否定回答:No, 主语+didn’t. 或者was/were+主语+其他?肯定回答:Yes,主语+was/were。否定回答:No, 主语+wasn’t/weren’t. e.g.
---Did you go to the beach?---Yes,we did./ No, we didn’t.
——你们去海滩了吗? ——是的,我们去了。/不,我们没去。
---Was your weekend OK? ---Yes, it was. / No, it wasn’t.
——你的周末过得还行吧? ——是的,还行。/不,不行。
(4)特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+ 一般疑问句(顺序)?
--What did Li Lei do last weekend? ---He visited his grandparents. ——李雷上个周末干什么了? ——他看望了他的祖父母。
---Where were you yesterday? ---I was at home.
——你昨天在哪儿? ——我在家里。
