Step 1 .Lead in and show the language goals.
1. Lead the students talk about places of interests in China.
T: Do you like traveling?
S: Yes.
T: Where would you like to visit?
S: We would like to visit…
T: Why would you like to visit there?
S: I would like to visit somewhere educational.
(设计意图:通过一系列师生问答,复习前面几个单元重点句型的同时,自然过渡至本单元的话题Where would you like to visit?并让学生了解本课的语言目标。分组,进行小组竞赛,增强学生参与的积极性。)
Step 2. Listening practice.
T: Do you want to know where Gina would like to visit?
S: Yes.
T: Now, we will have a listening practice and find out where Gina and Sam would like to visit and why they would like to visit

(设计意图:谈论学生比较感兴趣的三个人物,由比较枯燥的语言过渡到真实的语境中,进行定语从句的语句操练。从而为下文的survey 作好充分的准备。)
T: As we know, we will have a school trip in two weeks. Where would you like to visit most? And why? Talk about it with your classmates and give us your final idea.
(设计意图:让同学们一起讨论去旅游的地点。让同学们在操练英语过程养成与人商量与协调的好习惯。)

T: today we have learned how to ask where people would like to visit? And get more information about the places. Now, let’s have a summary.
1.一些描述地点的形容词:convenient, tiring, exciting, educational, peaceful等;
2. 重点短语:would like to , some day, hope to do;
3.用定语从句描述自己喜欢的地方,
eg: I like the place where the weather is warm.
(设计意图:通过最后的summary 让学生明白本节课重点,巩固所学。)
T: if I ask which city do you want to go most? And I think different people have different ideas. So today your homework is :
1 Look for some information about Paris, including the places of interest ,the language, the people and so on , then make a list.(查找关于巴黎的信息,报括景点,语言,人等等.)
2 Look for some information that is about the places you want to go。Including the places of interest ,the language, the people and so on , then make a list. you’d better bring a photo to school. (查找关于你最想去的地方的信息,报括景点,语言,人等等.最好能附带一张照片或者图片)
(设计意图:学于致用,学生能够把所学知识和现实紧密联系起来,通过上网查找信息充实学生的各科知识,让英语交谈不再是空洞的书本内容,更能提高学生运用英语交谈的兴趣。
