二．Language points:
1.like, alike
(1) like是介词，表示“像”，一般用于句中后接名词，反义词unlike
alike是形容词，一般用于句末，与be构成系表结构，做表语
有be alike,look alike 等表达形式
eg: The girl is like her mother. 这女孩像她妈妈。
What is our new teacher like? 我们的新老师是什么样子的？
The young man looks like a teacher. 这位年轻人看上去像老师。
These two photos are almost alike. 这两张照片看上去几乎一样。
The twins don’t look at all alike. 这对双胞胎一点都不像。
(2) like还可作动词“喜欢”反义 dislike, hate
She likes sweet food. 她喜欢吃甜食。
Children like swimming in summer. 孩子们夏季喜欢游泳。
He knows a lot, I like to talk with him.
他知道得很多，我喜欢和他谈话。
2. the same as“与……一样”同义 be alike
反义 be different from
His car is the same as mine. 他的车和我的车是一样的。
I have the same jeans as she does.我有和他一样的牛仔裤。
different a. difference n.
My uniform is different from John’s. 我的校服和约翰的不同。
What’s the difference between this book and that one?
这本书和那本书有什么区别？
