Teaching procedures:
Step1. Lead in.
Ask students to show their descriptions about the changes.
Progress lies in changes. Great changes have taken place in our country. Our school has changed a lot. People change, life changes, no one is what he used to be. Would you like to tell us your changes?
Step2. Self learn.
1. When we recall the past experiences, we realize our changes. Ask the Ss to read the list in 3a and check the list.
2. Then ask your partners about the things they used to be afraid of. Ask some pairs to give the examples. Then work in groups and check the list.

B: Yes, I did.
A: Are you still afraid of them?
