keep 用法小结:(1) keep +宾语+ 形容词〈宾补〉
we must keep our schoolyard tidy every day .我们必须每天保持我们的校园清洁卫生。
〈2〉keep doing sth 一直做某事 Why did the boy keep crying all the time ? 为什么那个男孩一直在哭?
〈3〉keep +形容词〈表语〉 We should keep heathy every day .我们应保持身体健康。
〈4〉keep sb doing sth 让某事一直做某事 Sorry , I have kept you waiting so long .对不起,让你久等了。
〈5〉keep +宾语+from +sth /doing sth 阻止某人做某事
The heavy rain kept us from going to school that day .那天,那场大雨阻止了我们不能去上学
〈6〉keep“借” 为延续性动词 , 可搭配时间段。
I have kept the dictionary for three days. 我借了这本词典已三天了。
〈7〉keep “饲养“ keep a pet 饲养宠物

(1)less为little的比较级,“更少的”其后为不可数名词,反义词为more。 fewer为few的比较级,其后为可数名词复数,反义词也是more.
(2)句中的in表示“在…之后”通常搭配将来时。He will finish the work in half an hour.
In是指以现在时间为起点的一段时间后 ,而after 为以过去时间为起点的一段时间后,

fall in love with 是固定词组,“爱上某人或某物”fall 构成的词组还有:
fall behind 落在…的后面 fall down 倒下 ,掉下 fall into 落入……中 fall off 从……掉下

〔1〕no one 意为“没有人”,与nobody 同义,作主语时,谓语动词用第三人称单数形式。
There is no one /nobody in the reading room at the moment .
None为不定代词,既可指人又可指物,其后可接of 短语。但no one 只能指人,且不能与of短语连用。None of the computers work /works. 这些电脑一个都不能用。
How many monkeys did you see in the zoo yesterday ? -----None .
〈2〉此句中使用了see sb do sth “看见某人做过某事” 强调看到了事情的全过程。
I saw him fall into the river just now .刚才我看见他掉进河里了。
see sb doing sth “ 看见某人正在做某事”
I saw the girl playing computer games when I passed by .我路过的时候看见那个女孩正打电脑游戏。
与此用法相似的还有:hear / watch / notice / feel /listen to 等等。
5 such与so的意思都是“如此,这样”。但两者用法根本不同,与what和how引导的感叹句相类似。1、such后面主要是修饰名词。即:such+a/an+adj.+n.如果名词是不可数名词或复数名词,则不可以用不定冠词a或an。
如:①He has such a beautiful bike. We all go to see it.2、so后面经常跟形容词或副词。即:和so+adj.或adv.不过,so后面也可以跟名词,但该名词必须是单数可数名词。用法为:so+形容词+a或an+单数可数名词。如:①The tiger is so big. And the cat is so small. ②She is so lovely a girl.3、它们后面还可以与that从句连用。即:such…that和so…that意思是“如此……以致……”。如: ①She is such a clever girl that she can make much progress in math exam. ②His brother is so young that he can't go to school.
注:①There are so many people that we can't go past.
②I ate so much food that I didn't want to go any farther.

1. 情态动词can /could /should的基本用法.
〈1〉Can /could
1)表能力,有“能”“会”“能够”的意思Can you drive a car ? -----yes ,I can / No, I can’t
2) 表征求许可,意为“可以…….?” Can I use your bike ? 我可以……? (=may, 但没有may正式)
3)表可能性,常用于否定句,疑问句
Today is Sunday. He can’t be at school. (could比can更加委婉)
〈2〉 Should 1)表示劝告,义务,建议,命令,其同义词是ought to ; 在疑问句中,通常用should代替ought to . Should I open the window ?
We should learn some English . You should go to class right away .
2. I don’t have enough money . 我没有足够的钱 。
〈1〉enough此处为形容词,意为“足够的,充足的”,修饰名词时通常放在名词前。也可放在名词后面。
I have enough money for the book .=I have money enough for the book .
你有足够的时间来做这件事。
〈2〉enough修饰形容词或副词时,放在形容词或副词后面。
It rained heavily enough yesterday . 昨天的雨下得非常大。
那辆漂亮的轿车十分昂贵 。
〈3〉adj / adv +enough ( for sb ) + to do … 足够…可以… 可与so...that.../ too...to...结构句型转换 。
