Good afternoon, my dear judges, Im NO.. Today It is my great honor to have this opportunity to talk about my teaching ideas. My presentation consists of five parts.
Part 1 The analysis of the teaching material
This lesson is a reading passage, which focused on the topic of ____, such a topic is related to our daily life, so it is easy to arouse the Ss’ learning interests.
My teaching objectives include the following parts.
1st The knowledge objective: v
by the end of this lesson, Ss can learn the new words and new phrases: _________and master the usage of _____________(某个语法点)

1. Skim for the main idea of the article;

4. Enlarge the relative knowledge by reading more materials in library or from the Internet, write a report of the topic, etc.
3rd The emotional objective:
1. to develop the spirit of cooperation through teamwork and pair-discussion;
2. arouse Ss’ interest in English learning
4th The Cultural awareness
5th The Important points:
1. to get an overall understanding of the whole text,
2. to develop their reading skills such as anticipating, skimming, scanning, summarizing language points…..…(具体课型用具体例子阐述)

The Difficult Points:
Are the Ss enable to use the new words and phrases to express their ideas in daily life, and develop the ability of skimming and scanning.

Part 2 The analysis of students
The Ss have learned English for some years. They understand some words and simple sentences. They are curious, active, and fond of game, competition, and various activities. They enjoy learning through cooperation in a relaxing atmosphere.
Part 3 Teaching methods
In this lesson, my teaching methods include audio-visual teaching method, communicative teaching method, and task-based teaching methods. Besides, a computer, blackboard, a tape recorder, a projector are needed as the teaching aids.
Part 4 Teaching procedures
There are five steps in my teaching procedures. But before teaching, I will divide the whole class into 4 groups to do competitions while finish different tasks in this lesson.
Step 1 Warming-up and leading in (3mins)
Free talk; talk something related the topic of the article.
参考活动: Brainstorming, setting the scene, show pictures etc.
Purpose: activate the Ss to regard the topic of (主题) and create a relaxing atmosphere.
Step 2 Pre-reading (10mins) There are 3 tasks for the Ss.
Do a guessing game.
Show some funny pictures and sentences on PPT and then ask the Ss to
Guess the meaning of the new words.
Practice the new words and phrases:
Match the new words and phrases with the Chinese meanings.
Predicting: based on the title/ pictures on the text. ( 看具体情况而定)
Purpose: through guessing, to arouse Ss learning interest, and help them to learn the new words and phrases which they may come across while reading, pave the way for the following learning and cultivate the ability of anticipating.
{Meanwhile, pronunciation of some letter strings such as “ea” (pea, tea, feast..) and “er” (cucumber…) are highlighted so as to foster students’ phonetic sensitivity.} (如果有语音教学则可渗透。)
Step 3 While- reading (15mins)
There are two tasks for the Ss.
First Reading: Ss read the article as quickly as they can and try to get the general idea by answer the following questions.
Q1: who/ when/ what/ ……….
Second reading: pair-discussion
Ss read the article more carefully, and then discuss with their partners to finish the T/F exercises and fill in the table/blanks in the sentences.
A : T/F
B: Fill in blanks.
根据课文内容而定。参考活动:
Fill in the table, make an outline of the article, find the topic sentences of each paragraph, etc.
Purpose: the two tasks are aim to develop Ss’ reading ability. Skim for the main idea of the article, and scanning for the specific information. And then get a deep understanding of the article.
Step 4 Post-reading (10mins)
1)Group discussion: fill in the blanks
Ss discuss the article with their group members, and find out the language points, such as the key words, phrases, and sentence structures in the article.
And then fill in the blanks in a short passage present on the PPT. The short passage is made up from the article, and the answers are the language points in this lesson.
After check the answers, I will help the Ss to summarize the language points.
2)Retell:
Use the key word and phrases presented on the PPT to retell the article.
1. Debate----当话题有矛盾的双面
2. Discussion——当话题是讨论解决问题
3. Do a survey——调查相关问题
4. Make a report——小组合作,反馈
Purpose: Through group work, cultivate the spirit of cooperation, and train the ability of solve problem by themselves. In class, the teacher is just a guide, while the Ss are the center, where, the teacher just join them, giving suggestions, and offering help when they need. Meanwhile, ask the Ss to retell the article, is an output, and it can evaluates how well the Ss learned in this lesson.
Step 5 Homework (2mins)
go over today’ lesson and preview the next lesson
go to the library or search on the internet to get more extra material about this topic and then write a report.
Purpose: consolidate the language points and do prepare for the next lesson, and develop the ability of writing.
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. It’s my great honor and pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you.
I have been ready to begin this representation with five parts. Analysis of the teaching material, the teaching aims, the important and difficult points, the studying methods, and the teaching procedure.
Part 1 Teaching Material
The content of my lesson is a reading material, through the learning of which, I’ll enable students to know more about Jackie Chan, his life career and the qualities that lead to his success. At the same time, make Ss aware of the question-and-answer format in an interview and learn how to conclude a question from the answer.
Part 2 Teaching Aims
According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus (新课程标准和教学大纲), and after studying the teaching material, the teaching aims are the followings:
1. Knowledge objects (语言目标:语音,词汇,语法,功能,话题)
(1)The Ss can learn question-and-answer format in an interview.
(2) The Ss can understand the content of the lesson, talk about Jackie Chan’s life career and form their own opinion about success.
2.Ability objects (技能目标:听,说,读,写)
(1) To develop the Ss’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing
(2) To improve Ss' reading abilities, especially their skimming and scanning abilities.
(3) To train the Ss’ abilities of studying by themselves and through cooperating.
3.Emotion or moral objects (情感目标:兴趣,自信,合作,爱国,国际视野)
Learn from Jackie Chan and understand the way to success is not smooth. Put the moral education in the process of study.
Part 3 the Important and Difficult Points
The important points are what qualities are required to be successful? Such as creativity, persistence and talent.
The difficult points are Help students to conclude the questions of interviewers according to Jackie Chan’s answers.
Part 4 Teaching Methods
As is known to us all, a good teaching method requires that the teacher should help Ss develop good sense of the English language. For achieving these teaching aims, (after the analysis of the teaching material and teaching aims,) I will use the following methods according to the modern social communication teaching theories.
1. Communicative Approach(交际教学法)
2.Task-based Language Teaching (任务教学法)
3.Total Situational Action (情景教学) a “scene — activity” teaching method , it establishes a real scene and the interaction between the teacher and the Ss. At the same time, CAI (电脑辅助教学) can provide a real situation with its sound and picture, it can develop the Ss creativity in learning English.
Part 5 Teaching Procedure
Step 1. Lead-in. (3min)

Purpose of my design:
To arouse students' interest and lead in the topic for this lesson.
Step 2. Pre-reading
Task 1. (Individual work, pair work, group work, class work; 8min)
Let Ss Get Ss to know something about Jackie Chan.
Step 3. While-reading 22min
Task 1.
Skimming: Ss should read the material fast to conclude the possible questions
Task 2.
Scanning: Say what the comments tell you about Chan’s attitude to himself and his career.
Step 4. Post-reading 12min
Task 1
Let Ss make further discussion
Task 2. Brainstorm
Does the interviewer tell you what you want to know about Jackie Chan? If Jackie Chan comes to our school and you will interview him on behalf of our school, what questions will you ask him?
Step 5. Homework
What do you think is the most important quality to be successful? Relate it to how to be successful in college entrance examination.

Ladies and gentlemen. It’s my pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you. I’m …….. The content of my lesson is Junior English Grade Eight Book One unit two How often do you exercise? This unit is mainly about free time activities. It talks about how often you do things and some adverb frequency. Now, I will explain the lesson from the following aspects.
Part 1. Teaching Material:
The lesson is the fourth period of this unit. Such topic is very practical in real life. Good start is the half of success. And it has laid a solid foundation for the further study. Moreover, this lesson is also tell the Ss how to develop a good and healthy habit.
Part 2. Teaching aims:
on studying the teaching material and analyzing the regulation of Ss’s growing of mind, I put forward the following three teaching objects according to my overall teaching idea.
(1). Language object
1. To enable the Ss to understand, speak, spell, recite some new words, such as result percent through although and so on.
2. To get the Ss master the sentence pattern:
1).we found that only 15 percent…….
2). It’s good to relax by using……
3). We think the best way to relax is through exercise.
4) It’s healthy for the mind and the body.
Only after the Ss master the basic language knowledge , can they communicate with each other better.
(2). Ability object
The Ss can use the sentence patterns of “ how often do you exercise?” “I always /usually/often……” and some a good and healthy habit. and further develop their language ability of using the sentence patterns in their daily life.
(3). Emotion object
By completing the task the Ss increase their interest and set up self-confidence in language study. And I think the Ss should learn how to develop a good and healthy habit.
Part 3. Important and difficult points:
According to the teaching aims. I think the important point of this lesson is how to master the adverb frequency. The difficult point is how to express the adverbs of frequency in our daily life freely and correctly, and at the same time, pay attention to some difficult sentence patterns :Although many Ss like to watch sports, game shows are the most popular./ It’s good to relax by using……
Part 4. Analysis of students:
The Ss have learnt English for many years, they have deep interests in it, and the most important is that the topic relates to their daily life.
Well, how to achieve the teaching objects better, to stress the key point and break through the difficult point, the key is how to make use of the proper teaching methods, I’ll talk about my teaching methods below.
Part 5. Teaching method:
According to the modern perception theories and social intercourse teaching theories. I adopt the Total Situational Action and Task-based Language Teaching.
At the same time, make use of all kinds of teaching means, such as ppt, flash-cards…it can mobilize the Ss’ enthusiasm and creativity in learning English.
Part 6. Teaching procedures
As to teaching procedures, I designed the following steps to achieve my teaching aims. They are “Revision and Lead-in ,presentation ,reading task, home work ,blackboard design.”
Step One: Revision and Lead-in
Greet the Ss and have a daily conversation to review the sentence pattern :How often do you do…..?I usually / often/sometimes …do….then I will show some topics that the Ss are interested in such as “what they usually do in their free time?”“How often do you surf the Internet?” to lead the three topics we’ll talk in the text.
(Purpose: According to the psychological characteristics of Ss, a relaxing conversation can make Ss feel pleased and satisfied, at the same time it can also arouse exciting motion. And reviewing the sentence pattern they learnt can arouse the Ss participation desire, and lead the Ss into a thick English studying atmosphere. )
Step Two: Presentation
1. Do a suvey
do a survey about the frequency of exercise, use of Internet and watching TV among the Ss in their free time. First I will ask the Ss to discuss the frequency of exercise together and then divide the Ss into three groups to discuss the other two topics, finally I will ask some Ss to summary their results.
2. Discussion
According to the result of the survey, get the Ss to discuss which is the best way to relax and why? Let the Ss to talk about their own opinions freely and at last the teacher will sum them up.
(Purpose:To do a survey is much easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings of the text. Proper competition can arouse their interest in learning English. And in this part discussion can help the Ss take active part in the activities, especially for the Ss who have trouble in English. With no doubt, this will encourage the Ss to speak English bravely.)
Step Three: Reading task
After finishing the discussion, the Ss will know much about the main idea of the text. It will be much easier for the Ss to understand the text by themselves. So I will ask the Ss to do the following three steps all by themselves and I will give them a hand if they need.
1 pre-task
Ask the Ss to finish the pie chart by themselves after fast reading. Then check their answers.
2.while-task
Get the Ss to read the text carefully and ask some of them to answer the questions of 2c.
3.post-task
Then read the text again and according to the article and pie chart, make the Ss write down their answers of 2d to consolidate the adverbs of frequen
