The patterns are: Do you like lettuce in sandwiches? Yes, I do. Do you like tomatoes? No, I don’t. How do you make a turkey sandwich? First put some butter on a slice of bread. How much butter? About a teaspoon. Teaching and learning steps: Step I. Pre-listening activities 1. Free talk. First ask the Ss to talk how to make fruit salad orally, then let them write English down without looking at the textbooks. 2.Teach new words by pictures (设计说明:本部分3a为学生的背诵作业,词组和句子都是上节课的重要语言知识,该部分内容可以帮助学生更有目的性的复习。同时通过检测学生的背诵效果,进而学习新单词,教师可以更有针对性地教,学生可以更有针对性的学。) Step2 .Warm up by discussing If we want to make a sandwich, what do you think we need? And we can buy them in the supermarket. Let’s make a shopping list. Please use the structure We should buy some… (设计说明:先给学生们创设易于理解的语用情景,并逐步引导学生们在实际运用中初步感知如何组织语言。) Step3. pairwork 1. Suppose you want to make a sandwich. What things do you like in a sandwich? Make a list and write them in the box. Ask and answer in pairs. In my sandwich, I like butter, onion, tomato, turkey slices, beef slices, relish and lettuce. 2. Do with 1b According to the activity above. Take turns asking your partner what he/she likes in sandwiches. A: Do you like lettuce in sandwiches? B: Yes, I do. A: Do you like tomatoes? B: No, I don’t. Turkey is a large North American bird Now two students are making a turkey sandwich. Let’s listen to the tape and find out what kind of things they use. 2. Check the answer together. 3. Listen again and fill in the blanks. A: How do you make a turkey _____________? B: Well, first put __________on a slice of bread. A: How much butter? B: Oh, about a______________. A: OK. What else? B: Next _____________ some tomatoes. A: How many tomatoes? B: Well, one is probably enough. Put the tomato on the sandwich. Next cut up __________. A: Sounds good. What about the turkey? B: Next, put some________________ on the sandwich. A: How many turkey slices? B: About __________. A: OK. Is that all? B: Not quite. Then put ________ on the turkey. A: How much? B: Two teaspoons should do it. And don’t forget the lettuce. A: Sounds delicious! B: Finally, put ____________ slice of bread on top. A: Great! Step5. Listening and writing the ingredients (2b) As we know the ingredients they need, let’s listen again and write them in the right order. (设计说明:本部分的内容重在培养学生们写作的能力,同时通过和同伴分享作文,查缺补漏,共同提高写作水平。) 本节课亮点: 1. 复习部分3a是本节课的重要语言知识,该部分复习内容可以帮助学生更有目的性的学习新知识。同时通过检测学生的复习效果,教师可以更有针对性地教,学生可以更有针对性的学。 2.导入部分,先给学生们创设易于理解的语用情景,并逐步引导学生们用英语组织语言,学会用英语表达自己的喜好。 3. 家庭作业的布置,本部分的内容重在培养学生们写作的能力,同时通过和同伴分享作文,查缺补漏,共同提高写作水平。 使用注意事项: 1.预习内容一定要提前布置给学生,便于学生更有目的性的去预习,提高课上做题速度。 2.导入部分,学习新单词,有些长,可通过实物提起学生兴趣,并通过竞赛检查掌握效果.
