Unit 10 I’m going to be a basketball player.

一、教学设计思路:
本单元是围绕 be going to 句型展开教学的。内容不是太多,但学生掌握起来却不是十分容易,尤其是在使用be going to 句型时,往往忽略了be going to 后面的动词原形,因此根据先易后难的、先口头后书面的教学规律,我决定本节课以学生大量的口头实践为突破口,让大面积的学生进行大量的口头实践。
训练可分为四轮:第一轮,解决标题I’m going to be…;第二轮进行词汇训练: What are you going to be …? I’m going to be a (an)…;第三轮以听力为突破口训练:What are you going to be …? I’m going to be a (an)… How are you going to do that? I’m going to…;第四轮做调查,做报告,调查自己的good friends长大后想做什么,如何做?然后给大家做报告。整节课以学生的活动为主,给学生充分的语言实践机会,让学生对be going to 句型有个充分的感知,为本单元的教学做了一个良好的铺垫,在教学中辅以多媒体,起到示范和解释的作用。
二、教学策略:以练为主,以练代讲,精讲多练,练中感悟。
三、学习策略:鼓励学生积极展示自我,做到“我的课堂我做主”。
四、教学目标:
1. Target language: grow up, programmer, computer science, engineer, pilot, professional, actor; What are you going to be …? I’m going to be a (an)… How are you going to do that? I’m going to…
2. Enable students to talk about future intentions.
3. The main and different point: Enable students to talk about future intentions.
五、教学过程:
Step1 Lead-in
T: Hello, everyone! I’m your new teacher. I want to introduce me and my family to you. I’m a teacher, my husband is a worker.
(设计意图: learning the new words.)
I’m a teacher, but I don’t want to be a teacher. I’m going to be a pilot, as you know, you are students. But what do you want to be when you grow up? Now please write your name and the job you want to be (Some students write them on the blackboard.) Then check together.

(设计意图:初步感知be going to句型)
Step2 Presentation
通过多媒体,简单介绍be going to句型
Step3 Drill
Now please tell us your dream job, using “be going to” one by one. (让每个学生都参与)
Step4 Work in pairs
--- What are you going to be when you grow up?
--- I’m going to be a (an)…
Then ask a lot of pairs to act the dialogue out.
Step5 Listening
Play the tape twice, then check the answers.
Step6 Practice the dialogue
Step7 Make a survey
Let students ask their friends what they are going to be when they grow up and how they are going to do that. Then give a report to class.
Step 8 Homework:
Ask more students what they are going to be when they grow up and how they are going to do that.

课后反思:
通过学生对本课时的学习,他们很熟练的掌握了句型What are you going to be when you grow up? I’m going to be a (an)… How are you going to do that? I’m going to … 并且能够很流利地利用句型进行大量的对话练习。美中不足的是,有些表示职业的生词,学生不会说,不过,我们利用多媒体来教学,已经弥补了这一不足。
