【教学目标】
1.能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇:past,choose,record,lively,birth,attend,touch
2.了解如何介绍自己的家庭聚会。
3.了解如何写简单的说明文。
【教学重难点】
1.掌握一些与介绍家庭聚会有关的重点词汇:enjoy,camera,video,hobby
2.激发学生兴趣,让学生向他人介绍自己的家庭聚会情况。
3.掌握以下重点句子:
①It’s never too late to start an album of family photos.
②People always enjoy looking at old pictures.
③They help you remember happy times.
④It’s fun to make a family tree.
⑤...don’t forget to add him or her to the family tree.

一、创设情境,切入主题
Step 1 Lead-in
Lead in by discussing the following questions:
What can you do when all of you get together?
What is useful for recording videos of the family?
When should we add a new name on the family tree?
Show some pictures of family gathering to the class.Let the students discuss the questions in groups.Then present their results in front of the class.The styles are different.They can be dialogues or reports.

Step 2 Listening
Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with the words you hear.
1.You can ask family members to________some photos from their collections.
2.Videos can help us remember happy________.
3.We can write names,birth dates and________on the family trees.
Finish the task in class in oral.
Step 3 Reading
Read the text and answer the following questions:
1.How are most family celebrations?
2.What do people always enjoy doing?
3.What can we write on the family tree?
Finish the task in class in oral.
Step 4 Practice
Make sentences with the language points:

S1:My sister enjoys singing and dancing.

S3:You can add some sugar to the juice.
Step 5 Activities
Introduce your family gathering.Work in groups.At the same time,the teacher walks around the classroom to see if they have any questions.
Discuss for a while,then let some students come to the front to show their introductions.
Step 6 Come to “Let’s Do It!”.
Listen to the text and finish off Exercise 1 in class.Read the text and finish Exercise 2.
